Janet

It's midnight and they aren't back yet. At this point, I'm thinking the worst. The CIA got them. I sit up in my bed and tears fall. Shadow jumped onto the bed looking at me with his little head tilting. "Hi, shadow. They aren't back as yet and I think I'm going to lose my fucking mind if my phone doesn't go--

Looks like God heard me. Quickly I answer my phone hoping it's Simon with good but instead, it's Aiden. Oh my baby brother it's been so long since we talked. "Why on earth are you up this late Aiden Carlyle Slovak."

"Because you haven't called me all day and I didn't want to go to bed until I heard your annoying voice." He admits and I chuckle with a sniff. "Oh my goodness, are you crying?" Here goes the hundredth lie I've told since Gabriel came into my life.

"I just really miss Quinn." This was truthful. "I know and there's no sign of him." As Aiden talked to me about the feedback from the search party I got up from my bed and went to the window.

I look back at Shadow who was fast asleep so adorable I want to take a picture of him. "I just know Mrs Turner is losing her marbles after getting him back and then losing him again. A mother's pain."

Suddenly I hear a car pull up on my driveway. I stayed on the phone with Aiden as he babbled away while I ran to the living room and looked through the window. It's Quinn and the others.

"Aiden sweetie I'm getting a bit tired so tomorrow then?" I asked with a wide smile on my face. He told me okay and hung up.

I rushed out to help them, my emotions swirling like a tempest within me. Quinn stood before me, his expression weary yet filled with gratitude. "Janet," he said, his voice tinged with exhaustion. "We made it back."

Tears welled up in my eyes as I enveloped Quinn in a tight embrace, her relief washing over her like a tidal wave. "Thank God you're safe," I whispered, my voice choked with emotion.

Quinn returned the embrace, his arms wrapping around me in a gesture of reassurance. "We had some close calls, but we managed to pull through," he said, his voice filled with gratitude.

As I pulled back from the embrace, I took in the sight of the others - Simon, Nicholas, and Robyn - standing behind Quinn, their expressions a mix of weariness and determination.

"Thank you all for bringing him back," I said, my voice trembling with emotion. "I don't know what I would have done if anything had happened to him."

Simon stepped forward, a reassuring smile on his face. "It was our pleasure, Janet. Quinn is like family to us, and we wouldn't have let anything happen to him."

I nodded, my heart overflowing with gratitude. "Please, Robyn and Nicholas come inside. You must be exhausted. I'll make some tea."

As they made their way inside, I couldn't shake the feeling of unease that lingered in the air. i couldn't help but wonder what dangers still lurked in the shadows, and what trials lay ahead for Quinn and the others. But for now, I was grateful for their safe return, and I vowed to do whatever it took to keep them safe from harm.

The question about why Quinn is still human but then I realized there isn't a full moon tonight which is weird because it usually lasts 3 days. Whatever happened to the sudden change thank God.

I made enough peppermint tea for everyone and myself. As I enter the living room I see Nicholas dropping three large bags on the floor. "Sleeping bags and clothes." he smiles and I nod before giving him his mug. "Delicious and beautiful mug by the way." he sips before complimenting my mug.

Everyone took a seat at the dinner table in silence. All you could hear was them cooling the hot tea and slurping. "I saw Gary," Quinn said and nearly dropped my mug. "Wha-how?"

He looks at me. "In my dreams. He told me to find a cure then this white-haired demon lady showed up and dragged him away."

When Quinn said that Simon choked on his tea and Robyn began to rub her forehead. "Is everything alright Robyn?" Nicholas asked and she nodded. "That's the demon that killed Liz at the warehouse her name is Mother of hell, well that's what I've heard so far from my visions," she said and my jaw was on the table.

I've never met a psychic before and now that I am I feel lucky. "What else did you see?" Simon asked. "Maybe we can use it to find Gabriel."

Oh shot almost forgot about his ass. "Can that wait until tomorrow I'm having a huge migraine," she whines getting up. I got up as well. "I got painkillers in the bathroom cabinet."

She turns and gives me a thumbs-up before going into the bathroom. "Robyn wait for your clothes." he jogged up to her fast enough to give it to her.

"Thank you so much for letting them crash here for tonight," Simon says hugging me. "No problem it's the least I could do." suddenly I heard a shadow barking and it was at Quinn. I acted quickly pulling the puppy away from him before something happened.

I fed Shadow and went to bed. Quinn didn't want to sleep and I knew it was because he was traumatized. "Baby," I say turning his face to me. "You need to sleep."

"I know jj but every time I do I see dead people and me eating raw meat," he says pretending to throw up. "I'm sorry you have to go through that."

What Quinn is going through I wouldn't wish that on anyone but my history teacher Ms. Johnson in high school and the devil himself.

Lucifer

My offspring, Lilithra, Lucius, and myself, entered into the dark woods where the moon cast an eerie glow, illuminating our path as we walked deeper into the shadows.

Lilithra, her voice tinged with frustration, broke the silence. "Dad, we need to discuss Sebastian's future. He is the last living son of Dracula, and we must guide him towards embracing his demonic heritage."

i nodded, his expression contemplative. "You're right, my dear. Sebastian possesses great potential, but his recent interactions with mortal girls have complicated matters."

Lucius, ever the impulsive one, chimed in. "Those mortal girls are nothing but distractions. Sebastian's allegiance should lie with us, his demonic family."

Lilithra, her eyes narrowing, shot a glare at her brother. "Sebastian was meant to be my husband, according to your plan. We cannot allow him to become too attached to mortal emotions."

I raised a hand, silencing their bickering. "Enough. We must focus on the task at hand. Sebastian's transition into his demonic heritage must be expedited before he becomes too entangled in mortal affairs."

Lilithra nodded, her determination evident. "We should perform the ritual tonight, under the cover of darkness. It's our best chance to awaken Sebastian's true powers."

I agreed, my gaze piercing through the darkness. "Very well. We'll prepare for the ritual and ensure that Sebastian embraces his destiny as the heir of Dracula."

Sebastian

As I sat in my room, surrounded by the dim glow of flickering lamplight, my thoughts drifted back to the memories of Gheata, who had masqueraded as my mother for as long as I could remember. She had been a constant presence in my life, her warm smile and gentle touch shaping my childhood in ways I could never fully comprehend.

Despite the facade she presented, there had always been a sense of unease lingering beneath the surface. I now find myself wondering about my real mother, the woman who had given birth to me and then vanished without a trace. What was she like?

Lilithra's words echoed in my mind, her revelations about my mother's past casting a shadow of doubt over my memories. According to her, my real mother had been human, a woman of questionable morals who had led a promiscuous life at a young age.

So i researched the name Lucy and an article titled The Untold Story of Lucy Westenra: appeared at the top of the search bar.

_________________________________

Lucy Westenra was known as the beautiful, vivacious young woman whose life is tragically cut short by a rare fever. Born into a wealthy English family in the late 18th century, Lucy Westenra was destined for a life of privilege and happiness. Engaged to the dashing Arthur Holmwood, she was eagerly anticipating their upcoming wedding, a celebration of their love and the beginning of their life together.

However, fate had other plans in store for Lucy. Just two days before her wedding, she fell ill with a sudden and severe fever. Despite the best efforts of her family and physicians, Lucy slipped into a coma that lasted for three agonizing months. Her family, devastated by the prospect of losing her, spared no expense in trying to awaken her from her slumber.

Then, on a fateful day amid their despair, a glimmer of hope emerged. Lucy's family was stunned to discover that she had given birth to a baby boy during her coma. It was a miracle, a testament to the resilience of life even in the face of death. The child, whom they named Phillip Holmwood, was a beacon of light in their darkest hours.

Tragically, Lucy never regained consciousness. She passed away, leaving behind a grieving family and a newborn son. But in her death, Lucy bestowed upon them a precious gift-the gift of new life and renewed hope.

A year later they made a painting commissioned in memory of Lucy captures this bittersweet moment for generations to come. In the painting, a woman with sorrowful eyes cradles a dark-haired 1-year-old baby boy in her arms. The child, with his brown curly hair and innocent gaze, sits in his grandmother's lap, a reminder of the love that transcends even the boundaries of life and death.

The Holmwood and Westenra family faced further heartache and mystery. Arthur Holmwood, once the proud groom-to-be, met a tragic end under mysterious circumstances. His lifeless body was discovered in his son's room, lying next to a small urn containing Lucy's ashes. The room, once filled with the laughter of a young family, now held only echoes of sorrow and unanswered questions.

Phillip, the young boy born from Lucy's coma, was nowhere to be found. His nursery lay empty, his toys untouched, as if he had vanished into thin air. The disappearance of the child sent shockwaves through the community, sparking rumors and speculation about his fate.

Some whispered that he had been kidnapped, a pawn in a sinister game played by unknown adversaries. But amidst the rumors and theories, one thing remained certain: the Holmwood family was once again plunged into darkness and despair.

Desperate for answers, the family enlisted the help of investigators and law enforcement agencies. They searched high and low, combing through every inch of the estate and questioning anyone who might have information about Phillip's whereabouts. But despite their best efforts, the boy remained elusive, his fate shrouded in mystery.

_______________________________________

The article about Lucy Westenra left me reeling, my mind spinning with questions and emotions. Could this be true? that I'm Phillip Holmwood. The thought of being separated from my family, from my other identity, filled me with a sense of longing and sorrow.

"Sebastian," Lilithra called out and I immediately closed my computer down as she barged in grinning. "Don't you ever knock?" I said getting up and brushing pass her. "What's wrong did I interrupt your little Jack off time?" she laughs and attempted to open the computer.

I acted quickly and grabbed her by the throat. "Nosey much?" I flare at her and she bit her lip in a seductive way.

"You're so weird." I let go of her neck and she rolls her eyes as she exits. I lock the door this time before looking more into my mother's side of the family.

There are still a few westenra's left and in two days will be the lanterns for Phillip in his memory. All those years I wondered why they were there. Now I know it's because me

I wish I could just go to England and introduce myself but they'll probably won't believe me and think I'm using them for money, when the only reason is to be closer to them and be human.

Lucifer and the other people of the underworld say I must follow in my father's footsteps but that's a lot to do. I've been so normal that being just like him who was cruel will be weird for me.

Speaking of different I need to get Myra's number. I want know more about her and the things she loves. There's something about her that makes us feel connected but what is it?

Gabriel

I watch Sebastian find out about his real mother's family and smile to myself because it was because of me. Maybe if I connect him to them the dark side family will leave him alone and it seems to have worked because he's have regrets which is great and I hope it stays that way.

Janet, Quinn, Robyn, Nicholas and Simon are all asleep because of my father who arts in heaven for delaying the usual three day full moon. "I think it's time to go back to earth my son and I want you to remember that your mission is to save Sebastian not kill him. He has a pure heart but his father's reputation keeps getting in the way."

I nod and walk into a portal he made for my exit. It closes up behind me as I start to fall and make my massive wings disappeared as I crash into the ocean.
