In the Limelight

The whole Starry Sky planet was in an uproar once again. This was due to the announcement that was publicized on the Federation official media page. The Federation has just made an announcement on planning to collaborating with Creamery Creamer.

This was a notice that had sent everyone's jaw dropping to the ground. Mike's business partners who had refused to help him back when he was in dire need, were patiently waiting for the news of his downfall. But who would have thought that the Federation will make such sudden announcement. The words written on the page, were like a slap to their faces.

One of them even fainted on his office desk, the moment the news was brought to him. Each one of them all had an ugly expression on their face.

 Is it too late to seek for forgiveness? Such thought immediately pop into their head.

The emperor of Starry Sky planet was equally excited of the incoming visitors. Mike was summoned to the palace by the emperor to be rewarded.

Mike whole status has undergone a huge change in just a few months. Previously, he was just a nobody who had been ignored by his close friends. Now, he is in the limelight, becoming someone who the emperor respected.

All this happening was due to a certain person, Xue Yiran. However, Xue Yiran has never desire to be in the limelight. She handed everything over to Mike to handle, and just continue to be a hidden boss behind the scenes. Even though her help weren't really needed, since everything was taken care of by Mike.

The members of the Federation soon arrived at Start Sky planet. The massive space ship covers the entire port. 

All the powerful officials in Starry Sky planet; including the emperor himself, were all standing at the port waiting to greet the members of the Federation.

As the sole reason to why everything was taking place, Mike stood next to the emperor, dressed up in a classic suit. From the constant wiping of perspiration off his face, one could detect that he was very nervous.

Being in a group of high authority was something he had never dreamed of. And yet he was surrounded by many; all looking at him with respectful gazes. The top tier news agencies were also at the scene, taking pictures with their devices fervently. 

The door of the large spaceship opened. The first thing to emerge under everyone gaze, was a long step escalator that was lowered down from the spaceship. Soon followed by it, were entourage of men all dressed in a black combat suit. The insignia of the Federation badge was pinned to their chest. They were all lined up in a neat line as they disembark from the spaceship. Their overall bearing looked imposing.

The emperor was the first to make a move. He took a step forward. Followed behind him were the officials.

"Welcome to Starry Sky planet. It's really great to have an esteemed figure like you here." The emperor flattered with a smile on his face.

The battalion commander of the Federation had a cold expression on his face. However, he replied the emperor with warming tone, "We really appreciate your praising. For your planet to be able to have the heritage of a lost talent that couldn't be found in the whole galaxy, it's truly our pleasure to be here." 

"Ha-ha-ha." The emperor laughed, with a hint of pride on his face. But before he could say anything else, the commander had already shifted his attention away from him and walked over to Mike.

"You must be Mike." The commander offered his hand in greetings.

"He-hello." Mike stuttered, shaking the commander's hand with both of his hands. His hands were equally sweaty along with his nervous state.

"My name is Ambrose. I must say it's really great to have a talented individual like you around." 

Mike grinned at Ambrose compliment. He immediately said. "I'll continue to work hard to prove useful to the galaxy."

"I'll be looking forward to that." Ambrose was satisfied with Mike's expression. The other party was still humble despite being in the limelight. Such a humble conduct was rare to see.

"I've already organized an extensive meal for your team back in my palace, Commander. Why don't I escort you there, while we have our discussion along with it." The ignored emperor finally said.

"What do you say, Mr. Mike?" Instead of answering the emperor, Ambrose turned to looked at Mike in confirmation. Perhaps if the other party says no, he would refuse the emperor offer.

Although he was being treated like air, the emperor knew that the Federation had come here precisely for Mike. He was just an insignificant other who was trying to get on their good book. Hence all he could do was turn to look at Mike, waiting for his reply.

Mike was stunned by the sudden question that was directed at him. Seeing the emperor gaze on him, his back went cold from sweat. "Sure, sure. We can discuss everything over the banquet at the palace."

The emperor was suddenly relief when he heard Mike's acceptance.

"Okay. You can lead the way then." The battalion glance behind at the emperor, saying in an order like tone.

All this was occurring under everyone's gaze, but the emperor could only comply with the battalion words.

A fleet of classic hovers cars were packed in front of the port. The battalion and Mike sat in a car while the emperor and the other officials followed along in the other cars.

The new agencies were quite intelligent and knew what to post and what not to post on the net.

The videos of the federation arrival immediately circulated on the media. Everyone began typing their opinions about the event.

[Rin: Oh, so these are the special forces of the Federation. They are so cool.]

[Iwan: I wonder what their class is. Perhaps they've broken through the SSS rank]

[Dawn: The Federation is the strongest organization that control all planets across the galaxy. Tell me, will their special forces be a punny SSS rank.]

[Iwan: Isn't SSS rank the highest-grade human can reach. Are there any others ranks?]

[Dawn: I heard a rumor somewhere that there are other ranks above the SSS class, which to me sounds true]

[Axel wife: Why can't I find my Axel? Isn't he the real founder of Creamery Creamer. Shouldn't he be the one discussing with the people from the Federation instead.]

[Min: That's right, where's Axel? Are they trying to hide him away from the public gaze.]

[Gia: Perhaps they are cooking up a special event before he makes an appearance.]

[Axel wife: My Axel. Axel, I love you so much. I want to have a baby with you. (*꒦ິ³꒦ີ)] 

[Lola: Me too. I just want to have his autograph and stare at his beautiful handwriting all day.]

[Bunny girl: Now that the Federation is partnering with Creamery Creamer, that means several outlets will be opened up in every planet. Wow, I'm so excited thinking of it. I can finally have a feel of what the snacks taste like.]
