Bleak Falls Barrow (2)

Gently opening the black iron doors, I slid inside the Barrow, entering the large room that begins the Bleak Falls Barrow Temple Dungeon.

Closing the door behind me, I looked around the decrepit room, listening to the sounds of two bandits going at it in the back.

To the right was the small raised platform, where a bandit corpse lay, surrounded by a few dead skeevers.

Drawing my bow, I snuck forwards, towards the first corpse directly in front of me.

Looting the gold from his corpse, I crept over to the raised platform, looting the gold from that corpse as well, before turning to look over the two women laying on top of a bedroll.

Riding on the lap of the other, the first woman's giant breasts bounced around as she moaned, the firelight from the campfire making her pale skin glow.

The woman below her was licking her lips as she held the waist of the curvy woman, her hips thrusting up slightly to meet the others ass.

Both were unaware of their impending demise, however I waited for them to finish up, stifling a moan as I felt my own cock harden inside my armor.

Grunting loudly, the woman erupted inside her partner, making them moan.

Collapsing forwards, they both passionately kissed, their hands desperately roaming each others skin as they embraced.

Nocking an arrow, I watched as they flipped spots, the futa now looming over the other woman as she pounded into her.

Releasing the bowstring, the arrow whistled through the air, piercing the futa's neck, making her collapse onto her partner.

Unequiping my bow, I drew my axe as I approached the screaming woman, swiftly burying the blade into her forehead.

Pushing the futa aside, I nodded as I looked down at the woman, sighing slightly.

"She was bigger than Gerdur..."

Shrugging, I took their gold before looking over at the locked wooden chest beside them.

Picking the lock, I sighed again as I looked inside, seeing only a pouch of gold.

That brought my total up to 843 Septims...

Though, I did have a few gems to sell when I reached Whiterun.

Getting up, I looked down the dimly lit tunnel that led deeper into the Barrow.

Cobwebs and moss clung to the stone walls, elaborate patterns engraved into the stone, typical of most Nordic Ruins.

Carefully walking down the stairs, I took in the decrepit tunnel, smiling to myself as I found myself in the all too familiar hallway.

Large roots crept along the floor, tiny mushrooms sprouting from the wood.

Moss and lichens clung to the walls, shrouded in cobwebs.

The smell of dust, earth, moss, and death permeated the warm air as I traversed deeper.

Taking it all in, I quietly walked down into the Barrow, eventually reaching the puzzle room.

Crouching at the top of the staircase, I looked down towards the male bandit holding a torch, looking around the room with confusion.

I smiled as he stepped forwards, towards the lever in the center.

Pulling it, he let out a shout of pain as dozens of poisoned darts peppered his body, sending him to the ground.

Writhing in pain, he looked at me with wide, pleading eyes, his mouth moving as he groaned.

"P-Please..."

Grinning at him, I turned towards the three stone pillars on the right, a symbol on the front of each.

Snake, Whale, Eagle...

For some reason, those were the three symbols the ancient Nords had chosen, and to be honest...

I was always surprised when I saw the whale.

Of course they were a seafaring people, having delved into the Sea of Ghosts to the north, but...

It always felt kind of... off, seeing the whale symbol.

Shaking the unnecessary thoughts out of my head, I rotated the heavy stone pillars to the correct order, as shown by the three pillars above the iron gate.

Snake, Snake, Whale.

The man was still groaning, and I stepped over his body, making him groan more.

Flinging the lever back, I chuckled when I heard the iron gate slide open, before looking back down at the man.

"Should've used your eyes, numbskull."

Guiding my magicka to my finger, I sent a small firebolt into his skull, killing him.

{Destruction: 21 -> 22}

Lowering my hand, I drew my axe, making my way into the next room.

The left side had the spiral staircase that led towards the Sanctum, and I could already hear the scurrying of the three Skeevers as they climbed up.

Readying the axe, I coated my free hand in flames as I waited, watching the staircase.

Three black bundles of fur launched themselves towards me their sharp front teeth clattering together as they bit the air.

Swinging the axe at one, I decapitated it, before punching another with my fist, setting its greasy fur alight.

The last Skeever screeched at me as it flew past, landing a few feet away.

Lowering its posture, it launched itself at me again, only to whine in pain as the axe bat it to the side, its stomach split open.

Hurling a small firebolt towards it, I nodded when it died.

Turning to the right side of the room, I walked over to the table, where a copy of the book 'Thief' lay.

Putting it in my bag, I scooped up the scattered coins before grinning at the sight of the purple crystal laying on the table.

It was a petty soul gem, capable of holding most small wildlife and Draugr inside.

This... was the first of many soul gems I would need to upgrade my Realm.

However, for now, I pocketed it, as I didn't have the spell or enchantment Soul Trap.

Finally, I turned towards the elaborate bronze and black chest, kneeling in front of it as I picked its old, rusty lock.

If this was one of those old retro games, the chest would have lit up as I opened it, due to the sheer amount of goodies inside.

A Spell Tome, three common soul gems, two bars of silver, and a golden ring with a large ruby situated in the center, two small diamonds accenting it on either side.

Grinning to myself, I grunted at the weight of the pure silver ingots, making my grin widen.

The game always made silver and gold seem... relatively worthless.

I mean, an ingot of solid silver or gold was worth thousands in my previous life, and here?

They should be worth the same. After all, they are a universal currency, which is why most coinage is cast in these metals.

Yet, in the game they were only around 50 to 100 some odd Septims, and you could use an ENTIRE bar for just ONE piece of jewelry, unless you made just pure metal rings, in which case you got two.

I wonder how much they are actually worth here...

Putting them into my inventory, I gently lifted up the three soul gems, nodding to myself as I put them away.

Turning to the Spell Tome, I widened my eyes when I opened it up.

The cover was the light brown leather of the Alteration School, the half alive, half dead tree embossed on the front.

Gently opening the book, I read the title, which was 'How to Cast Armor Spells'.

Flipping through the pages, I grinned to myself when I saw the passages for Oakflesh, Stoneflesh, and Ironflesh written down.

These were basic, yet important spells. Improving the casters defensive capabilities by coating their body in a thin layer of magicka, which took on the aspect of each tiers namesake.

Oakflesh would cover you in brown magicka, and it was as tough as bark.

Not the strongest, but have you ever tried punching a tree? Shit hurts, and the tree takes a little bit of damage.

Pair that with whatever armor you are already wearing?

This made me very happy.

Finally, I lifted up the ring, pursing my lips slightly as I noticed that it had no glow, meaning it was unenchanted.

However, it was still gold, a ruby, and two small diamonds.

It would be worth a small fortune on its own.

This was quite the haul, and it wasn't even the last chest in this dungeon!

Closing the heavy metal lid, I turned to look at the staircase, already shivering at the thought of what awaited me below.

Even if it was wounded, it was still I gigantic spider...

And the tunnels down below were coated in webs and smaller, normal spiders...
