Two days after the wedding, the leaders from out of state showed up. There were ten of them, all grim-faced and determined. Russel met them at his home, as he didn’t exactly have his own office currently. The building that could be considered his office was currently being reconfigured into a hospital/medical tent. Though, as he had told Vincent, he would have met them in his home anyways; it showed confidence.


Vincent was a bit overwhelmed at the thought, though, especially as he was required as heir to attend this meeting. Well, he and his mates, but Lucas had grown up a Leader’s son, and Bonnie...well, she was as cool and collected as always. It was only her mates who knew she was a trembling mess on the inside, being around SO many strangers. They weren’t even packs from this state, as the last meeting of Leaders had been.
