You are not scared," his deep voice asked. 

"Why would I be I love every little detail about you, even those sharp scary fangs " she laughed. 
"No one who has seen me like this has ever stayed "Xavier's voice carried a hint of pain. "Your playing with fire Liana and I don't want to hurt you," he said. 

Liana kissed him, "Xavier your appearance won't scare me cause I don't care how you look. Call me crazy or stupid but I won't care cause all I see is a man who makes me feel something I never felt with any man," she said. 

His eyes narrowed into slits, she gasped as a feeling of fear and excitement filled her. Cold dangerous air seemed to fill the room but Liana's focus was on Xavier. 

"Liana " he sweetly called her name. Huffing she looked up at him. "are you going all the way with me " 
She nodded biting her lower lip seductively. 
His body pressed down on hers as he found his way into her.

"So what did Daddy say to his son after not seeing him for centuries?" Gerald asked Xavier who had returned to work. 


"He wants me back and had me locked me when I said I wanted to return " 


"He wants you back? after letting all these centuries pass by he now has a change of mind " Gerald laughed. 


"And you disobeyed him won't he come for you again?" 


"He saw my determination of wanting to leave so he will give up for now," he said. 


"That's great, 'cause Liana almost went crazy without you. She's attached to you now " Gerald said. 


"And am connected to her too " Xavier let out.


"Gerald, why are you here, does Xavier need something?" Liana asked seeing him walk into her office. 


"No, he doesn't even know am here," he said. 


"Oh then is something bothering you?" Liana asked. 


"You didn't tell Xavier about what I told you? " he asked. 


"Since he doesn't remember about all those times he met her I decided not to tell him, after all, it's in the past, and am his future now," she said. 


"But it seems something is wrong this time round. Your connection is hurting you both and even his father is involved now " Gerald said. 


"Talk about that, you said he never intervened during all those past lives why is he getting involved right now? " she sighed. 


Gerald shrugged, "How would I know what the devil's thinking? Ask his son instead " 


"I think their father and son's relationship is more complicated than mine and my parents," she said. 


Gerald chuckled thinking about the time Xavier met with her parents. she still didn't know and Xavier has made him not to tell. 


"I have dated a lot of strange me but I never thought about dating the king of the underworld's son " 


"I can't imagine the face you will have when you meet your father-in-law" Gerald laughed. 


Liana scowled, "you're making me angry Gerald and who knows I might tell something about the  past to Xavier when he picks me up today " 


Gerald sprung up, "My time is up I will be leaving now," he said. 


"Take care Gerald and for your information am not married yet to Xavier so his father isn't my father-in-law" she muttered. 


"Who knows you might soon be and when that happens I will be there waiting for your reaction to see his father congratulate you on your wedding " he laughed before slipping out of the door.
