"You mean to say, we eloped got married, and even made a child together? But I left you behind 'cause father willed it?" he said.

Xavier chuckled, "You didn't think my father would warn me about you," he said.

Liana sat up, "Warn you about me, what did he say "

"That I should avoid at all cost the woman with hair stained in red ".he moved his eyes at her hair.

Liana frowned, " But why would he tell you to avoid me, think about it Xavier. It's all because he doesn't want you to find out the truth," she said.

He got up from the bed, "I don't even know why am listening to you calmly when I should have just called the guards to take you to father " he said.

Liana jumped over moving closer but he did the same thing again, moving back.

"I would appreciate it if you kept your distance," he said stopping her from coming closer.

Liana scowled, "Your terrible Xavier. I mean yes you don't know me anymore but your heart can't forget everything just like that. You must still have some lingering feeling when you look at me " she yelled.

"I thought you didn't wish for anyone to know your presence so why are you raising your voice now?" he said.

Her eyes moved to the door and fell silent.

"You're an odd one. I will honor my word and not call anyone. But please leave before I lose my temper " he smirked.

Liana felt her heartache, he was acting so different it hurt seeing him like that.

"You really don't remember anything, Xavier " she flung her hands to his arms.

He looked down instantly and pushed her away dropping her to the floor.

"As I said I don't know who you are apart from. All I know is that I have been told to keep away from you so please leave " he said looking down at her.

She could see the anger and confusion in his eyes. But being treated like that by him hurt more. Without warning, Liana burst out in tears. She wailed looking up at him.

He flinched back surprised at her reaction, he looked at the door and back at her, unnerved he knelt next to her.

"I can't believe you would treat me like this Xavier " she cried.

"Woman please stop wailing it's going to attract unnecessary attention," he said.

"I thought you didn't care so let them come and take me to your father, so I can die than seeing you treat me this way " she cried.

"But I don't know you and please stop calling me that name. My name is Avel " he said.

Liana stared at him, "Avel, when did that happen. Your name has always been Xavier so when didn't change to that. So your father even changed your name " she cried out.

Xavier reached out to her mouth when a knock came on the door.

"Prince Avel, is everything okay?" a male voice asked.

He turned to her with his eyes intimidating her to keep quiet.

"Everything is fine. I just knocked something over " he said.

"Alright, am sorry to have disturbed you," he said walking off.

He turned back to the silence Liana and took off his hand from her mouth.

Sniffing she glared back at him.

"You heard that, my name is Avel, not that weird name you keep calling me," he said.
