A STOP.

"Can we stop here?" Joy said. Gerald parked and turned to her.

"What's wrong?" he asked. She turned to point at an ice cream stand.

"Can we have some ice cream " she smiled.

He got out of his seat belt and got out of the car, Joy did the same. Gerald walked to her side and helped her out. She wanted to walk but he refused.

"Let me," he said giving her his back.

She giggled hesitating, "Hi, if you want the ice cream then get on "

He waited and soon she climbed on, holding her firmly he walked to the stand.

"Two please " she shouted excitedly.

"Flavour?" the ice cream man asked.

Joy moved closer to Gerald's face, "what do you want?" she asked.

"You choose," he said.

"Vanilla and Strawberry "is the order.

They got their ice cream and moved to the side bench.

"Here, vanilla is for you," she said passing him the vanilla ice cream and he took it.

"Thank you," he said.

She tasted hers and smiled, "how does it taste?" she asked him. Gerald took a taste of his and frowned, "cold " he said.

Joy giggled, "But it's good"

"Mmm," I agreed, "how is yours?"

"Mine, want I taste?" she said.

"Okay " Gerald moved closer to taste her ice cream, but Joy pulled it away. He paused looking at her, "I thought you wanted to share "

She laughed, "Sorry but I don't share ice cream with anyone not even Liana "

"So you were teasing me " he chuckled moving back.

She nodded, "sorry " Joy laughed.

She finished hers and turned to Gerald, he stopped licking and looked at her.

"You want more?" he asked.

"Yes, but not a new one. Let's share yours " she said.

"You didn't share yours but now want mine " he chuckled.

"Please," she said. Gerald moved his ice cream to her side and then to his. They kept licking until it was done.

"This has been nice, thank you," she said.

"Am glad you enjoyed yourself "

"Now that am okay, I need to find a job while I wait for Liana to decide on what to do," she said.

"What do you want to do now?" he asked.

She shrugged, "haven't decided yet "

"Then don't rush, if you need help then please do ask me," he said.

She turned to him and moved closer staring.
