"You need to take care and make sure that psycho doesn't get near her while she's recovering or until we get Lucian," he said.

"That's a little late, your mother just caught him inside the redhead's room "

Xavier and Gerald got up, "Calm down we handled it, he ran out. He even might still be around here if you look "

"Did he do anything to her?" Xavier asked.

"Your mother was there, he could not do anything even if he wanted to " he answered.

"I will go check on Joy, then, " Gerald said leaving.

Xavier turned to his father, "Where is he?" he asked

His father frowned, "what do you mean?"

Xavier moved closer to him, "I know you can smell him "

His father chuckled, "Am not a hound son "

"Stop wasting time & tell me, we both know he doesn't have much time, and his soul is already marked for the underworld. That means you can locate him no matter where he is " Xavier said.

His father smirked, "Well I know where he is but I can't tell you. It's not time to find him yet "

"But if I don't then Liana and Joy are in danger "

"Yes, but we are all here and after the scare he got today. He won't harm them again " his father said.

Xavier sighed knowing his father won't tell him.

They walked back to Liana's room.

"I need to get out of here and lay low or else these demons might take me before my time " Lucian rushed to his car.

He drove back home, to meet his father who was his study.

"Father you need to help me," he said scrambling in.

His father looked up from his work and frowned.

"What are you doing here?"

Lucian froze, "what am I doing here? --I come back home for my father's help cause am in trouble "

"You in trouble created yourself, so why are you coming to me?" he said.

"Cause I was doing your bidding old man, and it would be bad for you if am caught " Lucian yelled.

"You better behave, I won't tolerate that behavior in my house. You did what you did willing so it has nothing to do with me "

Lucian laughed but his smile didn't reach his eyes, "So you're abandoning me right now, after using me. Just like you did Liana. But don't forget if being caught then I will expose all your dirty secrets and illegal operations. You can manipulate mom and Liana but not me "

His father got up and walked to where his son was. He could see red hand prints around his neck, his body was trembling with fear and anger.

"I won't ask what happened to you 'cause I don't think you succeed with that mark around your neck. But am going to tell you this, if you dare open your mouth we both know what will happen " his father smiled.

"Am now seeing why Liana hates you, mother might be bad but we all know she was manipulated by you. Your the real evil here, not me, not mother -you are the only evil in this family " Lucian pointed at his father, "and I regret having listened to you "

He turned running off, meeting his mother on the way out. She held his hand before he could walk out.

"You hurt her again even after I told you to stop it. we have been under your father's evil spell for a long time it's time we escape from it " she said.

"Mother, if there is nothing else to say then let me go " he pulled away his hand.

She placed something in his hands and said, "I hope after you leave, don't look or try come back here. Start anew and let me handle the rest, remember I love you son " she said and walked away.

He looked down to see a new ID, plane tickets and money. He gulped feeling his eyes tear up.

"I love you too mom " he murmured before walking away.
