The next few days were pretty rough, Toomo was a real psycho. Bullying was common place, I even saw that asshole putting razors blades in one of the older children's food. Sadly I had no evidence and also didn't want the little monster wrath to be focused on me like they say. 'Snitches get stitches.' So I ignored him and his little gang of evil little crazy minions.

Here I sat outside thinking about all that has happened so far.

I got by with the little bit of food I could acquire every other day from the pantry. Lucky I was able to convinced the madam and other adults to allow me to help them in the kitchen. Once they tasted my food they didn't want me leave. 'They bearly even knew how to use the spices in the first place. I even got one of the most useful skill in any world I would say.' I had thought looking up at the small system window.

'It made for a good laugh, but what wasn't was when she bit my hand for wanting to try a bit.' But I couldn't stay mad at my little adorable roomate.

Thats not all I did the last few days I spent my time trying to deepen my relationship with Kaede. Which was easier than I had first thought it was going to be, but I sort of forgot that everyone avoided her like the plague.

It might have took a while, but with me helping her hide from Toomo and the other kids. Plus giving her food I'd steal from the kitchen she soon started to trust and warm up to me like an attention starved child. 'Which she was.' I thought as look down at the pink head that was resting on my lap as I slow patted it.

It didn't take long for her to introduce me to the adorable puppy in the woods one day. I almost had my heart explode from cuteness when she had the little guy, lifted up in the air like the lion king movie and said. "You are my friends so now you too can be each others friends too so we don't need to be lonely and afraid anymore!" With the dog barking at me.

'Am going to have to save this cute basterd after all!' I thought looking at the little guy laying beside us.

So those were my days hanging out with Kaene, cooking and also spending time reading any books I could get my hands on in the orphanage. 'Bearly anyone was allowed to go to school... and yes I mean allowed, the madam of the orphanage was a bit of an ass when it came to education.' Smirking.

I managed to get a some books from the few kids that actually went to school. Getting them to let me read there text books was just as easy as saying I'd do there homework. 'What kid would really say no to someone doing the homework for pretty much? Well only the dumb ones I guess. There will be a time where there in class in the future and won't know shit.' I let out and evil laugh with that thought making Kaede look up at me with her eyes focussing on mine.

"Your thinking of something evil aren't you?" I sweat drop but quickly respond. "What!? No I'd never just thinking about how cute you are!" She bushed looking away.

'Then there was my satues.' I was a bit disappointed with It but at least I could keep track of my skills easily.

'...' my mind blanked out at that moment. 'Where is my fucking gamer stats system!?' I yell out to the system interface.

You also wont need to worry about small horns growing out of your head, but other Diclonius will beable to sense you. If but bearly just like a weak radio signal unless they are trained to do so. You'll have the ability to unlock a very minor healling factor.]

Finding out that I still got the Diclonius bloodline even if it was so small it would bearly affect me was a bit unnerving and knowing that one day I might start to hear the voices of the will of a whole other race was even more unnerving than that.

The good thing is that this helped with befriending Kaede as one day she woke up with hand prints all over her room. I had helped her clean it all up later burning down her room it hide the evidence. 'Thats actually how I got her as roommate now that I think about it' I calmed her down telling her that she was special and had powers. Like the heroes in the stories I would sometimes read to or tell her about and that she couldn't tell anyone to hide her identity.

She just nodded along but when she ask me where she would sleep if we burnt down her room and I just said. "You'll stay in mine seeing how I dont have a roommate!" Getting blush out of her and her throwing the homemade cocktail in her room.

A few hours later saying some lies about faulty wiring and a fire truck an we were safe like who would think kids were crazy to burn down a room!

After that I'd take her up near the mountains where nobody would see us and had her try to control and test out her vectors not wanting her to let them out in her sleep again. I held the little pup as she experimented with her new found abilities thoses timea giving her ideas how to use them but it seem that there race came with instinct of how to use them and everything. 'The glimmer in her eye was a bit scary, but what can we do!?'

Five days later she soon told me she could sometimes tell when am near her, but couldn't with the others children.

I just smiled at the time and said. "Am pretty sure were very distant cousins and that you will be able to sense any one that has close relations to you by blood. There aren't many people with red eyes."

After I had said that she had a look of determination and all she did was train her sensing so she could as she said. "So I can always know where you are at all times!" I would have found it creepy the way she said it if she wasn't so damm cute puffing out her chest with little smug look.

And now weeks after that shes able to see me coming even if were not in the same room. I tried testing to see her range with the excuse of hide and seek using it as a way to train her sensing abilities to, which she quickly found out. Finding that she hand a range of at least 12 meters for now which was quite scary seeing her get that far in such short amount of time she had been working on it. Her vectors only numbered 4 right now but I knew she could grow more in the future. So what I had her focus more on now that she was young and was still growing was her range getting it up to 6 Meters as a minimum for now.

Back then I even somehow got her to wake up early with me to run around the orphanage with me in the morning to training up our stamina. Which was eye opening because she would beat me everytime like clockwork making her giggle at my dying face when she barely made a sweat. 'Well she is the alpha of her race!' I try to cheer my self up for losing to ten year old even if were the same age.

"Dont worry I'll be there to protect you aways!" She said in her cute voice while jumping around like a boxer doing mock punches with a smiley face as I laid on the grass out of breath. 'Can't get angry at that smile!'

-Days later-

I walk by one of the rooms when I heard Kaede screaming and ran inside seeing her being held back by a kid as Toomo is kneeing over our pup with a vace in his hand ready to smash it down with a mad glint. My mind was filled with rage that I didn't hear anything else as I just ran and tackled him to floor.

Welling on him like a beast that had his cage opened, leaving him bruised and bloody. I was so focused that I didn't even notice a girl walking in heading towards me with a rook in her hand.

The next thing I knew my body goes limp as I feel a warm liquid on my head. As I fall on the floor looking up at the screaming form of kaede crying and begging. I see a small red pool start against my cheek. 'O look is my blood.' Think a little out of it.

My mind slowly lose consciousness as I stare at those red eyes crying till they turned hollow and the last thing I heard was the loud vibrating sound of her vectors and unnatural scream.

-A week later after the incident-

"Beep beep beep." As my eyes shot open I let out a hiss of pain as my head aches like crazy.

I quickly realized I was alone in a white hospital room or so I tought till feeling a weight on my feet. Looking down I saw the pup bandaged up and sleeping on me.

The heart monitor lights up as I try to sit up making a few beeping sounds. The action soon calling in nurse that that quicky called for a doctor with a panic expression.

She quickly helped me sit up, and doing a few check ups. Her boobs where sticking out a bit and everytime I look over at them I felt a deep shiver in my spine.

'What the fuck.' Looking around but not finding anything I shake my head.

The same doctor that visited the orphanage for my last check up came in.

I was asked the basics like how I was feeling, and so on and If I remember anything that happened or how I got injured.

A young police officer chose this time to walk in sitting down at the chair next to my bed taking out a small note pad. As he look at me with a bit of pity but with a look that says iv seen to much shit as his partner stood outside by the door smoking.

"Your name is Fenrisúlfr correct?" I nod slowly but stop the moment my head started to aking getting a grimace from him.

"Do you recall any thing that happened before you were brought here to the hospital? " I blink at that and look straight into his eyes as thoughts fly though my head.

"Ya..." looking around rapidly trying to pull up my act like I was paranoid.

"There was a crazy person wearing an.. a black and white striped shirt and pants. There was so much screaming! so much blood!" I start to breath heavily like I was having a panic attack. Quickly getting the small pup to move into my arms as I act scared.

"Where is everyone else?" I question having the young man look sadly at me before he answered.

"You where the only survivor of the event that happened that day from what we could learn someone killed everyone and burned down the orphanage... we don't even know how you and the dog made it to the hospital." He lets out a long draw sigh. "Could you explain a bit how the man looked like?" I started shacking my head like crazy and whimper a bit to sell off my act.

He closed his eyes a bit and was going to ask someting else when the nurse interrupted him. "I think you should let him rest some more he just woke up a while ago he needs more rest if he any more to say we will make sure call you."

He look rather reluctant to leave but when his partner said they should get going and with the new information they could get a lead looking if there are any escaped convicts.

He nods slowly, getting up and stares at me in the eyes. "Dont worry kid will get the person that did this!" He swore. I just nod along solemnly and bit out of it with my best dead fish eyes.

As everyone soon left out side to talk more, before the nurse could leave I the asked if she could bring me something to eat like a shy child becuase in reality I was staving she giggled as my stomach choose that moment to growl rather loudly. I even got my direct bloodlust skill to level 2 times somehow.

Saying yes she left on a quest to find poor old me some chicken nuggets and pizza slices.

Holding up the pup to eye to eye level. "Looks like you didn't die little guy, but kaene still killed everyone it seems and even dropped me and you here I think I have some fuzzy memories of being piggybacked by a crying girl... so un cool on my part. She even burn that place to hide the evidence something she didn'tdo in the original." I say as bearly a whisper and chuckle a bit wiping a proud tear. "Am such a good influence haha."

The pup whines a bit. "Dont worry we will see her in the future I just know it this doesn't change anything if anything this just means we will be in for the long game now." I stare at the pup a bit.

"You know we never did give you name little guy. Seeing how your probably going to stay with me I'll need to stop calling puppy and little guy hmm... how about Alexander? The name of one of the greatest world leaders and conqueror of his era." I get a few licks as a yes I think so, so I nod.

I feel Tingle on my neck quickly looking out the window as I see a tree blowing sakura flowers in the wind which hid a small hand mark bent into the bark on the back of a tree that I would never see. Shacking my head getting the weird tingle to go away I call out my statues in my mind 'statues.'

-A year later after being discharged-

Since being discharged from the hospital they took me to a new orphanage a few citys away saying they feared that the killer might come back for me. There had been news of a serial killer killing family's in the area and local cops had to call for back up to help in the investigation.

They lucky sent me to local school where I start showing my abilities and genues. 'Like really am an adult that already went to college.'

Taking the exams to get a head of the other kids was a bit difficult because it was hard to believe that now an eleven year old could answer questions that would be problematic for highschoolers.

At the new orphanage I was ignored most of the time but the owners seemed to like me quite a bit. I helped with the cooking and spent most of the time I could at the library reading everything I could. 'Knowledge is power and power is my life line for now.'

I think they where even being paid more for fostering me, it would explain somethings. I had swear I saw dollor signs in there eyes.

As I sat in the living room with Alexander between my legs as I read a book on the evolution of man. Looking up to the tv I saw the tv talking about the some local killing that was happening where I could only assume where Kaede is at.
