Scarlett smiled broadly and immediately pulled Dante's hand so that she could hug him. "Arrghhh! You are alive! I thought you would be dead, and I could get your inheritance!"

Dante winced as soon as he heard Scarlett's shouting voice next to his ear. He was still trying to gather his energy, so his voice sounded weak as he said, "Stop yelling. Those people might be able to hear you."

Scarlett moved her head left and right after hearing Dante's words. She breathed a sigh of relief when she found no suspicious people around her.

"Let's move and find a hiding place for a while," Scarlett said.

Dante nodded. He tried to breathe slowly a few times before trying to stand up. He then offered his hand to Scarlett. "Come on, get up."

Scarlett grabbed Dante's hand, but as soon as she wanted to stand up, her legs felt so weak that she fell again. Luckily Dante hurriedly held her arm so her knees didn't hit the ground.
