Still Breathing

While breathing hoarsely, she raised her fists. A small smile formed on my face as I stared back down at her. To be honest, I was honestly not sure who would win this fight. Ordinarily, I'd be pretty confident about beating her, but after fighting so many people, it was already hard to keep my eyes open.

In fact, I'm pretty sure moving my head too fast would magnify my concussion and make me pass out. However, the fighting style I took on now should work pretty well with that disadvantage. I had no plans of losing, that's just how it was.

Minori pulled back a fist, and right before she swung it, I leaned to the side. By the time her fist shot out, I had already dodged it. At the same time, my palm swooped from down low, turning into a fist right before it hit her.

I felt an impact, but it was light. She tilted her body, making it graze by rather than anything else. Still, Minori wasn't done just yet, using the tilt of her body to launch a mid-height kick.
