After double-checking to make sure I wasn't mistaken about the level of the formation, I turned to Nathan.
"Seems like we weren't the ones with the short end of the stick."
"You sure? At the end of the day, it's us that has to deal with it."
He held out his spear, which began igniting. I let out a chuckle before looking at the formation in front of me.
"I guess that's true."
A tall wall of flesh had risen to block us off. That was a tad bit strange since usually, this formation, in particular, had this feature disabled. Unless they realized we were a particularly big threat.
Though they shouldn't have known something like that.
...Well, I guess there were wanted posters of us. But for them to think of us as this much of a threat means they must know detailed information about the reason behind the wanted posters. Or maybe I was overthinking it.
