I let out a yawn, still feeling a bit muddled, in part because I tended to get up like a zombie in the morning. Though considering how concerned Raisa looked, it was probably something important enough to wake me up, so I just waited for her to speak.
She looked a little nervous before glancing at the maid.
"Could you leave the room?"
The maid was slightly startled, holding one hand up to her mouth but not covering it.
"Ah! My apologies, I was heading out but had gotten distracted."
With that, she hurriedly left the room and closed the door. From there, Raisa took in a deep breath and looked at me.
"So... I think I should've told you this much sooner, but I couldn't."
I raised an eyebrow. It seems like she was feeling a bit guilty about the situation.
"You don't have to worry about that. In the first place, I wasn't available which ended up causing a delay."
Raisa frowned slightly and shook her head.
