Having had a shower. Borrowed Kim's hair dryer, thanks Kim! And put on a bit of makeup I walk downstairs in my skinny jeans, a cream fitted jumper and my leather jacket. It's super fitted and I can't lie it looks great. It's beginning to get cooler now, like the first peep of autumn has arrived. I love autumn it's my favourite season. I put on my ankle boots, hoping there's not too much walking involved in my surprise.
Matty has made breakfast again, I make a mental note to make him food at some point as a pay back for feeding me for days. He's facing away from me at the moment, sipping his coffee. His jeans hang perfectly, not baggy yet not too skinny. He looks manly. He's wearing a black thin jumper, it shows off his sculpted arms and his amazing physique. I can't help but watch him for a minute. In his kitchen, pushing his hair out of his eyes, and even though he's not looking at me I can tell what his expression would be. Concentrating and in his own world.
I walk into the kitchen and head for the table, completely drawn in by the toast and egg on the plate in the spot which has now become where I always sit.
I turn to glance at him and he pulls himself together from looking stunned. It's just a jumper and jeans Matty pull yourself together. I think and laugh.
I must admit it's a huge compliment to put that expression on his face. I feel like I'm always gazing at him because of his looks and it's nice when he does the same back.
"What's so funny" he says noticing my smile. Sitting down in his spot at the table across from me.
"I like it when you look at me like that" I tell him simply.
"I can't believe you don't see it really babe, you're beautiful. You know lots of guys look at you right?" he tells me eating his food
"Thank you. And no they do not" I laugh.
"Are you kidding me, are you unobservant or in denial? You know how many guys I've had to try and shut down just for the opportunity to be close to you" he laughs.
"And even when I manage to shut them down, they keep coming back for more" he chuckles.
When I look up at him he's smiling, he knows he's won the argument.
"Well have you seen yourself? Mr tall dark and handsome" I tell him.
"Nah I'm a waste of space. You're special babe" he says laughing.
You win for now, I think to myself. However I make a note to prove to him just how much of a catch he is.
"Thanks for feeding me again" I say sweetly
He brushes his hair back, I swear it's gotten longer. It suits him.
"Least I could do." He says simply looking at me in my eyes, then he winks and I practically melt.
"Okay so where are we going" I ask impulsively
"Nope you're just going to have to trust me" he teases.
"Ah I wanna know now" I demand.
"Well you're just gonna have to wait, sorry" he chuckles.
I take his plate as he's finished and load the dishwasher, least I can do is clean up right? Once I've filled the dishwasher I begin wiping down the side and then feel his arms go around my waist.
"Are you going to tell me now" I chuckle.
"No I'm not babe" he says "good things come to those who wait" he laughs.
He's still behind me, arms around my waist. He's started kissing my neck.
"You know if you do that.." I start.
"I won't be able to leave you alone and I'll probably take you right here" he finishes for me.
"See you know how beautiful you are, you know how I can't resist you" he says.
"You look beautiful today, you look beautiful everyday really. And I like these jeans" he smiles.
I move my head to meet his and he's kissing my lips. He breaks the kiss.
"Let's go, babe" he tells me smiling, excitement in his green eyes.
I'm genuinely excited, I've not had a guy do this for me before. Planning something that's a surprise, I know I will like wherever he takes me because it's Matty. He is good at reading people, what they like, what makes them smile. I'm just glad that I'm the one he wants to make smile.
We head to the door, it's becoming very familiar waking up here with him and spending my days with him. I really hope that's something we can make more permanent. Maybe I'm getting way ahead of myself. I'm just enjoying being in his company and I can't imagine not doing this with him. I've grown acquainted to him. And even though he often wakes me up in the night I would rather sleep in his bed than my own.
Eventually we are going to have to do something other than be with each other. It would be healthy for us to see our friends as well, I need to see Rhea soon. I just don't want to let go of his hand in case he starts telling himself that in my absence he either doesn't really need me or that he is not good for me. I also can't imagine spending a day without him.
