Callum's Story (1) - (Storm's Point of View)

Jen stares at me incredulously. "You must be joking."

I give her a serious look. "I'm dead serious."

She looks like she wants to protest, but Aris cuts in. "Come on, Jen. How valuable is this information to you? We don't need his data to proceed with our plans, but you need it for your investigations."

She blows out a breath, and when she agrees, resigned, I stop myself from doing a mental cheer. It's not over yet.

"All of them," I tell her.

She looks at me in shock, and Aris laughs. "Don't be fooled by his sweet disposition and harmless face. He's smart as a whip and drives a hard bargain."

"I need you to drop all the charges against him, including any old ones you had pending which aren't related to this case, and absolve him of any that may come up due to him having no choice," I clarify.

"Storm, do you think he has that kind of power? We have him locked. He has no choice but to talk," Jen argues.
