Morning After - (Storm's Point of View)

The next morning, Makai wakes up before me, taking a shower before nudging me awake to get ready for the day. When I return from the bathroom, he's already dressed in black jeans and a simple white shirt that stretches against his wide chest. His lustrous hair is tied back from his face with his leather strip.

"You're drooling," he teases when I can't stop staring at him while I dress.

I grin shamelessly at him. "Can you blame me? You look delicious."

"So do you," he says, even though I'm wearing old blue jeans and an even older plain blue T-shirt.

I laugh. "You're such a charmer, Kai. I look plain."

"You look perfect," he assures me, then shakes his head. "Well, almost perfect. You only need this to be perfect."
