Chapter Forty One

I was happy to see Laurie, though I didn't feel lonely anymore, but I was glad she was here with me. I missed her so much.

"I want to tell you something"

"What is the problem?"

"I've been having a series of dreams and men trying to abduct me"

"Vale is at it again.. We need deal with him"

"I don't think it is Vale this time, this has something to do with my origin and I need to find out who my parents are"

"And how do you intend to do it?"

"I went over to see Mama and she told me about the woman who brought me to the orphanage."

"Really? Is she your mother?"

"I'm yet to find out. But I need you to accompany me"

"That's okay. I'll go with you"

Laurie was the only one at this point I wanted to know about this. Not that I didn't trust Mar, I just wanted to find out where I was from and why I had constant dreams as a mermaid.

"Get some rest. We will go to Kuja tomorrow in search of the blind woman."

"I'll be going on a date tonight"

"Have fun bestie"
