Arya a simple girl from an orphanage with no idea of her real roots as a siren  and Mar a siren hunter with a strong hate for sirens. They meet at a pub after he hears her sing and suspects she is the creature he has sworn to kill. But when she is endangered and his protective instincts arise, they form a strong bond. I told Jean about the man in the red hoodie and she insisted I stayed back at home for that day. Just to make sure I was safe enough. 


"You should stay at home today," she said 


"I noticed how cold you were yesterday. Like you had seen a ghost or something. So I thought it was best if you stayed home today." 


"No, I do not want to be a liability to you. I want to work for whatever I enjoy" 


"Stop that. You are not any of that. I'm just asking you to stay home for your safety" 


I stayed home and did the chores in the house. After cleaning, I made Mac and cheese, took some out, and put the rest into the fridge. I was going to microwave it for Jean and her brother when they came back. 


I sat down and watched the soap opera: it had been a long time. The soap opera reminded me of Laurie. It was her favorite show. I missed her so much and I wished I could have her here with me.
