Unexpected Precaution

Like a tornado that passed by, Kael was breathing rapidly as he closed the door without the crown prince's permission.

Calus, on the other hand, seemed to raise one of his eyebrows and halted the tea he was holding in mid-air

Kael didn't want to meddle in the crown prince business. He might even get punishment but thinking of what he had heard earlier.

He knew he just couldn't avoid saying those words

"Hmm, it seems as if you're warning me. Don't worry, I know. Though it was nothing special. The first time I drank this tea, I gained fever over time, but as time passes, I've been immune to it all," Calus explained.
