The Temple's Connection

Ismael had never experienced anything like it before. Ismael found it too suspicious even though Calus had prior experience.

It seemed like an eternity until Ismael sneaked inside Calus' home. However, he wasn't alone this time. Kael was with him.

Papers covered with dust from the little servant boy's bag were with them.

"Come on over here. We must enter here before anyone discovers us," Kael nodded slowly as Ismael spoke.

He firmly observed Ismael's fading back while holding closely to his bag. He gulped.

He said, "Here we go," knowing that he was about to return to the household he had previously worked for.

Ismael asked, "So, are you saying that now?" Calus thinned his eyes.

"Don't you think magic exists?" Ismael disputed.

Although Calus believes in magic, he was unable to tell Ismael or even Kael.

But after learning about that, Calus immediately remembered the emerald bracelet, and his eyes brightened as he peered into his drawer.
