The Traces

The court rewarded the Count by saying, "I rule that the Count succeeds in this first trial since the negative ministry of law in here presents needless shreds of evidence," to which everyone yelled and mumbled.

The Count's eyes were wild when the courtroom was dismissed with the hammer hammering his accord.

Before the knights seized him and carried him back to his cellar, he was immobile and couldn't move even an inch.

He then immediately started to carve into the walls to record what had occurred earlier.

"I was exonerated after my initial trial! For me, that was a huge amount of success!" Even though he believed no one had heard him, he yelled.

However, when he realized who had paid him a visit earlier in the day, his expression abruptly changed.

He looked up only to see someone grinning beyond the bars of his cellar when he widened his eyes.

"Count Belfore, it is a pleasure to see you again."
