Edar, The Old Priest

Several hours later

"Are you certain that these pieces of proof are all that is required?" Gavin questioned Victor

Victor's hands were quivering as he gently nodded in response to Gavin's question while keeping his eyes on the papers.

"I believe the crooked judge's decision-making would end here. In the courtroom, he either received his own death sentence or proved the Count innocent. After that, we'll find the Count and learn what he's been keeping a secret from. At that point, we'll make sure to avoid any risk," Victor said in a quiet voice.

Then he turned to face Gavin, who remained mute while his eyes widened in imitation of the latter.

"What are you doing in here, you two?" Victor questioned as he firmly grasped the papers in his hands.

Calus gestured with his hands, "I realize it's a long explanation like what we're attempting to express towards the two but believe us, we need to plan now, or else, it would be ruined."
