His skin was heated through. He had never before felt this way. For him, everything was new. The market, the young woman holding his hand, the laughter he could hear, and most all, the way his heart would pound. Everything about the situation outlines a profound idea that even the young man himself was unable to comprehend.
How stupid of him to still be unsure of his emotions. He could only be truthful about how much of a fool he was, though, at that point. His crimson eyes briefly expressed such joy as he saw the blazing light consume everything in the area.
It was only him, the woman holding his hand, and the location where they had been.
When they were by themselves together, everything seemed to be exactly as it should be.
"Oh, if you are aware of Caspian, I adore purchasing apple sweet snacks. Every time he visited the market, my brother would give it to me as a present," the young woman exclaimed, then burst out laughing.
