"Damn girl, are you some serial killer or something" Ava's boyfriend or lover or whatever he was said as she threw the small knife at the target a distance from her.

"She's good" Pony tail was right beside her doing the same but he wasn't doing as good as she was. Out of all her seven throws she'd hit the target five times.

"Who's a serial killer?" Sarin asked looking at Ava who was trying to figure out the Red rules book which turned out to be a complete waste of time and energy.

Bethany laughed at her, "What do you guys study in the Mortal education?"

"Women learn how to be good wives and mother's and house keepers and men learn how to be providers, strong and to work good jobs" She answered hitting the target again.

That 𝑤𝑎𝑠 the education system of Cunningham all over the country.

"Was that your plan too, all that being a good wife and mother nonsense?" Pony tail asked giving up.

She nodded, back then her plans for her life were simple. Live a simple life get married to the most beautiful man in town or a Duke become a mother of two to three kids but all her plans changed when a rogue vampire decided to disrupt her family's peace.

Then after that, her plans were to seek revenge for her father but then fate took another direction and now she was slowly falling for a vampire. What her parents always hunted.

"What changed?" curious ponytail, she needed to find out his name soon.

"Everything."

After some silence, wind pushed her hair to her face. Looking up she saw the same man, what was his name.

Klaus.

Ava stood and approached him. She was angry.

"Where did you take her?" Obviously she had been worried.

The look Klaus sent her way made back down but the fire in her eyes wasn't lost.

"Somewhere she can get help" was his curt reply as he walked closer to Sarin. In his hand he carried some small books with different book cover colours.

Ava's expression turned into that of sorrow. Genuine concern was written all over her face. She understood she did wrong and Sarin was pretty sure Aella wasn't coming back anytime soon.

"Please tell her-"

"Am not telling her anything Ava, I don't have to by the way she trusted you help her immediately she came here but what you did was waste her godamn time" he was pissed too. They must have been pretty close with Aella, Sarin thought.

Azy, Ava's lover, steps in probably to stop Klaus from being rude to her but she pushes him back telling him an it's ok. Bethany does nothing to intervene.

"Klaus?" Sarin called him to gain his attention. When he looked at her she almost shrunk at her position. The intimidating look on his face would make anyone sit down and litsen to any of his orders.

"Let's go"Ava left leaving pony tail, Bethany and Sarin.

"Sarin right?" he asked and she nodded in response.

"I need your help with these" he dropped the books on the pool table right in front of Bethany.

"What are these?"

Bethany opened the first few pages on the first book and frowned, "Tariah? it's been long since I saw one of these"

"I need help to interpret them" Klaus continued looking at her. "Using your capabilities it's very easy to interpret them but I heard you don't have enough experience with your power so I can help and you can help me, that good?"

An agreement and she was Happy to agree since she needed to learn how to control the soul shifting plus Bethany was smiling while bobbing her heart up and down.

Sarin smiled and finally responded, "Okay but under one condition" she had other things to see deal with too.

"Don't push me if I don't want to"

He nodded, "I'll be here tomorrow" he slid the books into his coat pocket then, poof!. Gone.

"That was..." pony tail started.

"He is intimidating, Jesus" Bethany stood and walked out fanning herself with her hand fan.
