(HORSE NICKERING)
(PALACE GATES OPEN)
"Well look at who we have here, My son!" Grandma hugs Charles to her satisfaction, while grandpa watches the two from afar.
"My grace, for your Grandfather wishes to see you" She bows her head, taking his hands into hers as they walk into the castle.
"It's so wonderful to see you, Lady Hughes"
"Now that is what I would love to hear every day."
"Welcome home Son, for I have an important topic to discuss with you"
"Is it something so serious or rather ravishing?" (SIGHS)
"Is very important, Charles and it needs to be sorted out immediately."
The prince seats opposite his grandfather, while his grandmother sips tea beside him.
"Charles, As you have already been informed that the Eve ball holds tomorrow night at the Palace of the sultan"
The prince nods his head in agreement with his words.
"You need to find yourself a wife and a queen to rule this kingdom by your side"
"I understand quite well, but what if I don't find my queen at the ball tonight? Will I remain a bachelor forever or what am I expected to do?" He looks furiously at the two old people at his front.
"No dear, you will find a wife" His grandmother rubs his arms in comfort.
" I saw this pretty girl in the town today, I have never seen her before except today, her eyes were so beautiful like honeycombs, and her hair is like the skies at night, I want to talk to her but she was in a hurry today. I wish to see her tomorrow again" He stares at the ceiling as he dreams of the beauty he walked passed this noon.
"This beautiful lady you talk about, I wish to see her" Charle's eyes shot down to look at his grandfather's face.
(STAMMERING)
"What, since you feel so heartstricken by this woman, don't you think you should invite her for dinner or lunch any other day" Now his grandmother was scaring him a bit.
"I will think about it, I should go for training now before Haley cuts my head off" He stands to leave the room.
"Do not forget to think about it, Charles!"
He waves at them before walking towards the guard's room.
(LADY SULTAN)
" Prince Charles Hughes, a well-respected man in all the lands, sometimes people thought he was dead due to the rumours of his late parents or should I say the disappearance of him in the land. People no longer notice him, but his duties are still carried out by him.
Lord Hughes must get married because the kingdom needs an heir to the throne... Do you think his recent feelings for the town girl or should I say the unknown beauty will remain... let's find out..."
