"...Who taught you that password?"
Achilles calmly looked at the old man's expression, then said with a small smile:
"Just a friend."
He actually learned it from an idiot at a certain gang who was simply too drunk in the middle of the day, the fool just blabbered everything all out while he was standing next to him.
'Alcohol really does make people be more honest with themselves.' He silently thanked all the alcoholic drinks in this world.
The old man glared at him doubtfully, then said in a tense voice:
"Then I suppose you're here for a commission, what do you need?"
Achilles didn't try to extend the conversation and simply stated his demands:
"1600 Nero, make me a fake ID and a hunting license."
The old man raised an eyebrow at what Achilles said for a brief second before started laughing out loud:
"Hahahaha...Brat, you wanted to make a fake ID and a license for 1600, do you take me as a fool?"
"...I am being serious here, either take it or not at all." Achilles said without a change in his expression
The old man was silent for a moment before saying again with gritted teeth, his voice sounded grim:
"2300 and I'll do it."
"No negotiation." He said coldly without caring about the old man's words.
The latter finally couldn't take it anymore and started yelling out loud:
"DO YOU WANT TO ROB ME??!!"
Achilles didn't care about the old man's tantrum and only said in a matter-of-factly voice:
"I know your business isn't really good these recent months, so I am actually doing you a favor here. Do we have a deal or not?"
He heard about the existence of this old man two months ago, aside from his location and password he was also able to eavesdrop from the drunkard that the old man's business wasn't really good these days.
That was why he was able to push the price down so hard, otherwise, the old man would have kicked him out of the door the first moment he said those words.
The old man lowered his head while darting his eyes left and right like crazy, he was considering whether to accept Achilles' offer or not. After a minute, he said again in a suppressed voice:
"2100, that's the lowest I can do."
"1800, consider myself being kind." Achilles said curtly and coldly.
The old man's face started to get bright red like a tomato, it looked like he was about to die from a cardiac arrest.
"Fine." He said after calming himself down.
"How long will it take you to finish it?" Achilles asked after receiving the old man's agreement.
The old man held his chin for 5 seconds in contemplation then said:
"I need about 2 weeks."
"That's too long, a week and a half. You'll have to finish everything by that point." Achilles shook his head in disagreement.
"Fine then!" The old man said while letting out a low growl in irritation.
"..How will you pay me?" He said after a sudden realization.
"I'll pay you upfront when you have everything ready and there was no problem with the ID and license." Achilles answered immediately without any hesitation.
"Also, here's the information about my new identity." He added after a moment of silence.
He took out a piece of paper from his pocket and handed it to the old man. After that, he took out his old ID to let the old man take a look while skillfully hiding the information on the card.
"The paper is the personal info of the identity I wanted you to make, and here's the picture, scan and save it to your digital watch." Achilles coldly ordered the old man.
The old man took a look at the card while grumbling angrily and scanned the picture with his watch.
After confirming that nothing was wrong, the old man quickly waved his right hand and said to Achilles:
"If everything is settled then get the hell out of here, I need to work!"
Achilles raised an eyebrow in amusement at the old man's words and said to the old man in ridicule:
"Are you too old now? We have to sign a soul contract to settle this."
The soul contract established a connection between more than two souls to form a deal where the individuals that were involved in a contract needed to fulfill what was stated in it.
If the individuals failed to accomplish what was written in any way, their souls would shred into pieces and they would die the most painful death there was.
The old man was annoyed by what Achilles said but couldn't retaliate because he had indeed forgotten about the soul contract.
He extended his right hand to Achilles and said in exasperation:
"Let's get this over with."
The latter was no later than the former and quickly grabbed the old man's right hand, Achilles presented the old man the contract he had created within the Mindscape to the old man.
The term of the contract was as the followings:
{ 1)Party B will finish creating a fake ID and a hunting license within a week and a half by the information party A has provided to party B.Party A will pay party B the price both parties have agreed to when party B fulfills party A's request without any problems that could potentially cause harm to party A.
2)Both parties A and B will not divulge any information to a third party about their meeting or the deal they have made, both directly and indirectly.
3)Party A and B will not use the information they knew about the other or provided by the other to negatively affect them, both directly and indirectly.}
Aside from these three, there were also other small terms that Achilles added to ensure that nothing could go wrong.
The man read this thrice to make sure there was no loophole in the deal that Achilles could use against him.
After he was sure that everything was without problems, the old man sent a mental command within his Mindscape as an agreement and a connection was formed between the two.
Achilles smiled warmly at the old man and walked past him while patting his shoulder as he said:
"I do not like to be disappointed."
