The limousine flew for ten minutes or so before reaching a mansion. This one was similar to Sia's residence except for a few key differences in details.
She got off the car and stood in front of the gate, which automatically opened after a while. She slowly moved through the road which led to the mansion under the greetings of the maids as they all bowed to her and said:
"""Welcome back, Miss Anastasia."""
She didn't pay them any heed but headed inside the house where a butler pushed the door open for her.
The interior was exactly like her own house since it was the standard model for a manor, and she didn't really bother to make modifications to her own liking since it was a waste of time of her time.
Once inside, she was greeted by a group of four people. An aged man with blue eyes and brown hair along with a weird mustache. A slightly younger woman who had black hair and some wrinkles at the corner of her eyes was glaring at Sia intently. A kid of around 5 or 6 years old was looking between her and the group of people next to him without knowing what was going on.
And finally...
'Why is that scumbag always looking at me like that?' Sia glanced scornfully at a man around the same age as her with brown hair and some handsome facial features.
But the thing that stood out the most about him was the way he looked at Sia, it was like a wolf hungrily looking at its prey. It made every part of her being felt disgusted looking at the thing in front of her.
'To view your cousin in such a way...I want to rip him apart right now!' She thought with a hint of contempt clouding her eyes every time looking at her cousin.
"Ah my daughter, it has been a while since the last time you came back to visit us." The mustache man spoke with fake amiability.
"Hello, father. It indeed has been a long time." She responded indifferently without any particular emotion.
"...At least you know to probably dress up! I was worried a brat like you wouldn't know how to show any respect to the elders!" The black hair woman spoke with obvious ridicule in her voice.
This woman was Sia's second mother who was her father's concubine. She was always envious of her birth mother's beauty and that hatred and jealousy got shifted onto Sia after her mother died from a cardiac arrest.
Sia didn't care about this woman much at first but after constant provocation from this stupid woman, she was slowly getting more and more annoyed by her.
"Hello, second mother Miranda. People say that as humans become older they get wiser but that seems to be the opposite for you." She spoke with a fake smile that was full of disdain for the dumb woman named Miranda.
"You dare t-"
"Now now, this is a family dinner, don't be so tense to each other." Sia's father interjected Miranda to avoid a conflict, but he still showed his disapproval towards Sia by glaring at her out of the corner of his eyes.
Miranda calmed down after his words but still looked at Sia hatefully. The latter no longer paid attention to her and said:
"So are we having dinner now or later?"
"Oh don't be so rush daughter, let's have some tea first."
"OK."
They arrived at a room with some couches in it. Sia's father and Miranda sat next to each other with their child, her cousin sat a seat near them while Sia sat the furthest away.
A maid started pouring the tea into cups before placing them onto each person sitting and quickly excused herself to leave.
"I have heard that you've decided to deal with the government's case in their stead. Why did you suddenly take an interest in this Anastasia?" Surprisingly, her cousin spoke up first while still scanning all over Sia's body with those disgusting eyes. It made it seem like if there weren't any other here, he would have jumped onto Sia.
"None of your business, Brad." She shut Brad up with a cold gaze in his direction.
Normally If Sia talked to someone like that, they would probably be scared witless or worse, piss their pants. But contrary to that, Brad didn't show any sign of fear and the perverted look on his face only grew even more than before.
'Fucking pig.' Her disgust towards the animal who was looking at her rose exponentially off the charts.
'Ahh...I don't like it here. I want to see him.' Her face turned warm and joyful for a split moment before returning to normal, which made everyone around her bewildered.
"..."

"...Daughter, is there anything good that has happened recently?" Sia's father asked after some hesitation, he had never seen his daughter show such an expression before.
"Why do you care?"
"I'm your father, of course, I have to care for you."
"Well I don't want nor do I need your care." Sia dropped all the politeness she had displayed in front of her father.
The man was dumbfounded by his daughter's reaction toward him. Even though they never really had a good relationship, her acting this disrespectfully toward him was the first.
"How dare you speak to John like that brat?!" Miranda screamed angrily at Sia's action which made everyone other than the latter turn to her in surprise.
