Ours...Forever and Ever

On the top floor of the Central Tower, the president's office.

An aged figure wearing a formal suit was silently sitting on a leather chair. His left index finger tapped on the armchair at a steady pace.

His face was serious and almost emotionless except for a small glint in his eyes, revealing that he was expecting something.

A few moments later, his watch rung out and he picked up his call, a morphed voice sounded out:

{Mr.Blake, I've managed to locate Anastasia Evernight.}

"...Did she spot you?" The man answered after a second.

{I don't think it's possible sir. I was only tracing her through the surveillance cameras throughout the city.}

"Then where is she currently?"

{She was at a café meeting up with somebody. After that I lost track of her.}

"Then you have already been spotted!" Blake growled angrily

{My apologies, Mr.Blake. But she should still be around the southeast section.} The voice spoke calmly without caring about Blake's anger.

"Try to find her." Blake ordered coldly.

{...Understood.} The call hung up after the voice finished speaking

Blake then turned to dial another number, and the other side picked up in a heartbeat:

{To what do I owe the honor, Mr.President?}

"Prepare for the outbreak, southeast section." Blake said curtly.

{...My, very well then.}

15 minutes later, Achilles who was accompanied by Sia arrived at the weapons store nearby.

Linda's Café situated on a bustling commercial street where many products and items were being sold and were usually visited by many citizens.

One of them was a weapons store that was near the café, so it only took them a couple of minutes of walking to arrive at their destination.

The door automatically opened as Achilles walked inside with Sia hugging his arm. Everyone inside the store turned their attention toward the duo which made the former turn extremely awkward as he tried to act normal.

"...Why are you sticking so close to me?" He asked quietly while feeling slightly uncomfortable by the constant stares.

"Aren't we on a date right now? It's obvious that we should behave like a couple!...Or are you going to abandon your date?" Sia spoke the first part happily then the last with a slightly downcast voice.

"...Do what you want." Achilles relented and decided to ignore this strange woman.

Sia's expression became joyous again as she flashed a warm, loving smile at Achilles. She then turned to look around the store and asked:

"Are you going to buy a new axe?"

"Yeah."

"Well, the axes' section is over there. I can give you some advice if you want. Let's go!" She practically dragged Achilles' arm which made he had no choice but to follow.

They arrived at where the battle axes were displayed and began looking around. There were many different varieties there but most of them didn't suit Achilles at all.

'This is going to take a while...' He sighed a little in exasperation.

"From the axe that you used previously, You're probably prefer the lightweight type that prioritizes speed right?" Sia turned to him and precisely guessed what he wanted.

"You know about it?" Achilles was surprised that Sia knew about his preferences in weapons

"I know a thing or a two about weaponry you know and besides...how can I not pay attention to what my darling doll likes." Sia put an index finger in front of her lips and started giggling which caused her melons to bounce up and down.

"...We're not lovers." Achilles massaged his temples while speaking.

"Sure, but...didn't we enjoy those kisses like real lovers? The only part we haven't done yet is a formal confession that's all." She giggled while staring at him with bewitching eyes behind the sunglasses.

"Haaa...I truly don't understand why are you interested in a nameless guy like I am?"

Sia's expression turned slightly colder as a flame of hidden anger burned beneath her eyes, she moved near Achilles and held his cheeks with both her hands, and pulled him down slightly to meet her eyes.

"I myself am not even sure the reason behind this and curious about it as well."

[But...What we know is that, you are an incredibly special and interesting existence to us, and...we want you to be ours...forever and ever.] Her pale-blue eyes flashed dull grey and her voice seemed...off.

It was like three persons were overlapping each other.

A disturbing smile that was a mix of affection and obsession appeared on her beautiful face.

Achilles was startled by the sudden declaration but something else was bothering him more:

'...We?'

Before he could process the meaning behind "we", he noticed the surrounding people had begun staring at them again.

He had no choice but to grab Sia's delicate hands and made her snap out of her trance.

"Let's continue another time." He smiled a little at her dazed expression.

Sia's face turned a little red as she looked away and nodded shyly, following his words.

"...Ok."
