Overwhelmed

Sia looked at him with a cold, murderous gaze. She brandished the wooden sword as she walked toward him with steady footsteps. The sound of her shoes reverberated across space as Luna and Mina stared at her with bated breath.

Achilles sighed tiredly. He summoned the Water of Invigoration and the freshwater stream poured down his throat. He drank the thing for a while before returning it to his Mindscape.

The artifact — although was not having much of an effect, was still increasing his regeneration speed considerably. He could feel his injuries start to mend themselves.

Not enough for him to fully recover, but was sufficient to keep him going — for some time, at least.

He pushed himself out from the rubble and stood up slowly. It took him a while to get his footing, but he had managed to, somehow.

Sia tilted her head emotionlessly. In this battle, she seemed to have become a different person. The loving, slightly obsessive elf was now gone.
