Preys

Miles started walking ahead with the four moving behind him, he could sense that they were still looking at his back with piercing looks. The kid felt his back begin soaking with sweat as he tried to keep his cool.

Suddenly, the bald man asked:

"How long will it take for us to reach there?"

Miles answered.

"...Around 20 minutes or more if we keep going at this place, I assume."

Bald man nodded.

"I see."

The lightbulb head turned to the blonde man and whispered something in an inaudible tone. A while later, the blonde man nodded and he took out his phone to call somebody.

A few seconds after, the other side picked up and Miles could hear a voice that was morphed to hide its owner's identity:

{Report.}

"Boss, the doctor wants to change the location of the meeting for unknown reasons. We're currently following a kid who claimed to have come on his behalf to the address."

The voice questioned.

{...Did you confirm that the child's words are true?}

Blonde man replied.
