Achilles was skeptical of what the priest said. His generation had never even seen a breathing, walking god so it was natural for him to not have much faith in them.
'One god still remains...Then where is he?'
While he was scoffing in his head, the crowd of people spoke in a doubtful voice:
"Yeah? Then what god is that? Show us proof!"
The priest was unfazed by the group's negative reactions. He said with a serene expression:
"My lord is all-seeing and all-knowing. He can feel the frustration and pain in your voice. Fear not! For he's a benevolent one, he understands your misery."
The crowd became even more agitated.
"If that is true, why are there no signs of your god? Why did he not assist us ever since the Great Fall?"
The priest answered:
"Perhaps...the Great Fall is a test created by the gods for us all. And my lord has been kind enough to give a helping hand for humanity to survive this test!"
