Calm Before the Storm

A month passed by in a blink of an eye.

It was now December, near the end of the year. The weather had turned much colder — even for a Divine — ever since they reached the middle of the Pacific. But the crew was still faring quite well without much problem.

Not much had occurred over the course of four weeks, there were numerous instances when the Solitude was attacked by Corrupted tribes coming from the deep. However, none of them came close to how terrifying those damn catfishes and the mysterious hive queen were.

It was a relief.

As they encountered more and more aquatic enemies, Achilles was surprised to learn how different the aquatic Corrupted were compared to most of their dry land counterparts. The sea creatures tended to follow in hordes and hunt their prey in a very organized and systematic order which helped them overwhelm their enemies easily.
