End of the Run

Achilles tried to drag on the fight for as long as possible by stalling and swiftly killing only the Corrupted who were unlucky enough to be used as a dummy to bait him in.

However, it was impossible to outrun an entire group of bestial abominations that was using the best of their capabilities to claim his life. He suffered numerous punches and slashes that easily tore through his armor and his natural defense.

Devil's Perseverance was nigh useless against a horde of nightmarish beasts.

Achilles' ribcage endured a massive blow coming from a Corrupted as he used his venomous talons to rip apart the arteries on its neck. He felt the air knocked out of his lungs as the world around him was shrouded in darkness for a split second.

His back crashed against the ship as it jolted him from his unconscious state. 

"Argh!"
