After confirming the domain's support, the Emperor shared all the details he had on the Cult and figures who could very well be involved in bringing down his empire before sharing his decision to act separately from Alex and his group, making his move by staying in the shadows, at least until he knew who was his friend and enemy.

So, with an agreement to stay in contact and share their finding, Alex, with two royal guard regiment captains, his two elders, and five hand-picked elites, returned to the Human Continent.

Both Royal Guard captains were early-stage Eight Rank individuals, with one of them belonging to the Black Dragon clan, a man named Draknar, an assassin with an unusually cold and silent demeanor.

The other was named Araneth, a wood elf whom Varon appointed as the head of the operation because she was one of the most intelligent and accomplished figures in the domain.
