After School:

"Hey" Max whispers as he wraps his arms around my waist.

"Hey" I put my arms around his neck.

"I missed you" I placed my head against his.

"I missed you too" he smiled and kissed my cheeks.

"Another one" I pouted.

"There" he kissed me, I smiled and kissed him more than once.

"Let's get going" he opened the passenger door for me.

"Thank you" I kissed him one more time on his cheek and slid in.

He closed the door and walked around to the other side, I put my seat belt on and rested my right hand on my leg, he put his seat belt on and intertwined his left hand with my right hand as he drove.

"Where are we going?" I leaned my head back... We have been driving for fifteen minutes now.

"You will see" he kissed the back of my hand and smiled at me.

"Fine" I sighed crossing my arms sulking.

"Can I atleast play some music please, it is too quiet in here"

"Sure" he smiled.

I connected my phone to the cars bluetooth and played all my favourite songs by Ella Mai... After fifteen torturing minutes of driving we pulled into the malls parking lot.

"Max" I whined making him stop in his tracks.

"Yes" he turned to me concerned.

"Please grab my flats from my bag and help me put them on" I smiled.

"Sure" he sighed in relief filling him as his tense posture relaxed.

"Thank you" I pecked his lips and quickly slipped on my shoes instead of letting him do it.

"Where too fine sir?" I said in a posh accent once we entered the mall.

"Follow me madam" he said mimicking my accent.

"Will do, lead the way" I walked gracefully beside him.

"Which stores do you want to go in first?" he pulled me closer wrapping an arm around my waist.

"Any shop" I shrugged with a small smile.

"As long as your with me" I placed my hand on his shoulder.

"Ok let's go" he kissed my head and dragged me into a random shop.

"La la land I am here already" I wolf whistled shaking my head in approval, Max chuckled as I laughed...after all I love shopping.

"After this we will go to some more shops but not many" he kissed me on my cheek and caressed my hand.

"Then later will meet up with the others at the diner" he whispered in my ear.

After we went to a few selected shops, we got ice cream by a nearby fountain, we placed our feet in the water splashing each other as we talked and joked around, occasionally sharing a kiss or two, it felt good to just have a day with him... minutes with him felt like hours and hours felt like months of perfect life with him it's wonderful.

"This date has been great, I love spending time alone with you" I smiled as he grazed his hand up and down my back soothingly.

"I am glad to hear that you enjoyed our date, I thought you would think it's cliche" he sighed and relaxed a little more.

"We have to go to the diner now" he checked his watch, we both groaned knowing we want to stay like this forever yet at some point it did have to come to an end.

"Ok lets go" I grunted.

I got up and pulled him with me to the car, he turned me around, I wrapped my arms around his neck as he wrapped his arms around my waist pulling me closer.

"Lara Elizabeth Snow will you be my girlfriend" he whispered as he gently kissed my lips and grazed my bottom lip.

"Yes" I whispered gazing into his eyes, he cupped my face and pulled me in for a slow and steady kiss filled with passion... although it did not last long it felt as though it did.

"Let's play our game shall we-" I drew out a shaky breathe to calm my racing heart, " I will go first" I cleared my throat as I thought of one... I felt flustered for a moment.

"Bays cry cigarettes do kill, parents lie, boats sink, flowers die, life goes on with or without you" I whispered as I traced out his face with my fingertips and smiled.

"Unknown" he smiled.

"Yes indeed, it's your turn" I nodded lightly.

"Sometimes the most beautiful people are beautifully broken" he cupped my face with both his hands as he caressed my face with his thumbs.

"R.E Drake" it came out as a mear whisper as I gazed into his eyes.

"When people hurt you over and over, think of them as sandpaper they may scratch and hurt a bit, but in the end, you end up polished and they end up useless" I sighed leaning into his blissful touch.

"I'm going to go out of my way here and say unknown" he shrugged as I laughed lightly.

"Yes it's unknown" I smiled.

"We should get going" I kissed him and sat facing forward.

I put my seat belt on... I looked out the window zoning out everything, soon I fell asleep with a smile upon my lips... I felt someone gently shaking me, I slowly awoke from my peaceful nap groaning, I don't like being disturbed.

"Lara we're here" Max said softly,I hummed in response and let him help me out.

"Let's go shall we" I exclaimed in a posh accent.

"Yes we shall" he mimicked me intertwining our hands.

We entered the diner, the scent of coffee and baked pastries filled my senses, closing my eyes, I sighed in total bliss as I welcomed it all in along with the noise of machinery, people chattering and the bell jingling.

I open my eyes and looked at a smiling Max, I returned his smile, I caught sight of Chloe, I waved at her and pulled Max along with me, I gave her a quick hug.

"I never thought I would miss you" I laughed lightly.

"Hmm is that so" she mused smacking me lightly.

"Indeed but I missed you dearly more than I missed anyone" I whispered in her ear.

"Hey look behind you by Selene and Damon" she laughed pointing a finger in their direction.

Selene is flirting with the cashier and Damon looks like his ready to puke his guts out, his face is pale, I placed my hands in my jacket as we laughed at the scene before us...I walked towards Damon and pulled him away from Selene and the cashier so he doesn't end up throwing up.

"I promise if you listened to them you would feel exactly the same as me" Damon's face morphed into complete horror, I snorted and rolled my eyes.

"Yeah ok" I smirked at him.

Soon Cole walked in and dragged Selene away from the cashier... I sense a hint of jealousy.

"It's about time"

"Hush child" Selene grumbled waving me off.

"Max pulled me on his lap and I inwardly rolled my eyes attempting to get off his lap yet I failed miserably and gave up.

"Hi, I'm your server today, what can I get you?"

"I will have a burger with fries and a large glass of coke" I closed the menu.

"We will all have that asswell" everyone else agreed.

"Copy cats" I sticked my tongue out at them.

"Yeah yeah, what ever" Selene waved me off dismissively.

"Ok now that's out the way, what's going on between the two of you?" Chloe leaned back squinting her eyes at Max and I.

"What do you mean?" I dismissed her question by answering with another question.

"What's going on between you guys?" Selene exclaimed watching us intensely.

"We are dating" I said casually as if it was no big deal, because its not... Is it.

"Finally" Chloe squealed.

The sound of screaming, crying and the bell chiming dies out our laughter, we all looked in the direction of the entrance to the diner, five well built men stood there with bow and arrows swung around their body, my eyes widen at the scene.

"Cupids" I mused as my eyes gleamed mischievously filled with excitement.

The Cupids pointed their bows at us and shot arrows our way, we ducked and took cover, I started looking for anything that I can use as a weapon but I could not spot anything.

"Guys do you have knifes, forks or even a pencil" I said in a rushed voice.

"I have two pockets knifes" Damon blurted out and I smirked at him.

"Handover" I held out my hand.

"Thanks" I placed them in my mouth as I tied my hair back.

"Stop" I yelled rolling up the knife's I had into my sleeves.

"What is the purpose of your visit" I walked slowly towards them.

"Prince Damon this is your last warning" man one said pointing an arrow at me, I smirked crossing my arms placing all my weight on one leg.

"Your not going to succeed in killing me" I dropped my hands, letting the knife's slide till my palms.

"Really" man one exclaimed.

"Yes" I said boredly.

"Ok I'm done with boring conversations" I aimed man one with the knife in the head, I pulled it out quickly and kicked man two and slashed the knife into his chest, pulled it out and stabbed man three in his thigh then his chest, I pulled two arrows from them twirling it walking to man five, I sticked them both into his shoulders and forced him down to his knees, I pulled an arrow from his and slowly stabbed him in the heart.

"No one should ever mess with me" I grit my teeth, "on my birthday" I whisper yelled jabbing it further and twisting it in, I push his lifeless body back like he was nothing.

"Let's go" I grabbed Max hand and walked out, he stopped me in front of the car.

"Are you ok" he cupped my face making me smile.

"Are you kidding me yes" I said gleefully.

Driving home was complete bliss except for the aching feeling I had to relive, my body temperature rising keeps rising, on impulse I reached for my necklace although I realised I didn't put it on, I inwardly groaned knowing full well that Joey was going to give me a lecture.

"Were home" he opened my door and helped me out.

"Thank you" I kissed him on the cheek.

"Close your eyes" he exclaimed, I did as he said not really trusting him, he guided me forward I hear a door clicking open, I was gently pushed in by my shoulders and put in a spot.

"Open your eyes" he embraced me from behind.

"Surprise" everyone yelled, I smiled and waved to a few guests that I recognized. Music began to play as people came to me and placing my gifts on the table next to me.

"Thank you uncle Ed" I hugged him, he joined my parents in a conversation.

"Finally... I got tired from saying thank you on repeat" I turned to Max.

"May I have this dance"

"Yes, that would be lovely" I placed my hand in his.We danced for two hours but stopped because my body began to heat up more than it did, I felt a little weak, I stumbled onto the sofa rubbing my throat.

"Water" I croaked as I tried to clear my throat, immediately chugged down the water and handed the glass back to Max.

"Thanks I feel better" I sighed leaning back with a smile on my face.

"Time to sing and cut the cake" mom and dad helped me up, they lit the candles and everyone sang, I blew out my candles and cut a slice for everyone, I sat on the sofa as everyone gathered around to watch me open my gifts.

"Thank you for the gifts and being here to celebrate my birthday" I smiled as I opened the last one, the doorbell rang, I got up and opened the door.

"Happy birthday Pumpkin" Gramps held his hands out.

"Gramps" I hugged him tightly.

"I missed you so much Gramps" I murmured.

"Me too kiddo" he laughed patting my back.

"How are you?" I helped him with his luggage and closed the door with my foot.

"I am doing great kiddo, how are you doing?" he smiled at me.

"I have been great Gramps" I smiled.

"Really" he mused and watched me attentively.

"Yep" I chirped and looked everywhere but not at him.

"What are you not telling me?, hmm" he mused.

"Nothing it's not important" I cleared my throat.

"Fine" he grumbled giving up on his interrogation.
