Chapter 4

The crowd went silent as Seth slapped Spencer continuously.

"You fool, you don't know who you are messing with" Spencer smiled as he looked at Seth. Seth took a step closer, stepping on the glass, he looked down, and with just a glance, he could tell that it was Ley Diamanté shattered into pieces. "Did she break this?" he thought to himself.

"How much is it?" Seth asked the waiter.

"It's $7 million sir," the waiter said.

"We know you can't afford this…so why are you pretending?" Spencer said, bringing out his cell phone and dialing a number. A male voice came up and just as the call started it ended.

Seth walked over to the waiter and gave him his card, the waiter took it with disbelief because of the type of suit Seth was wearing. There's no way he'll have $7 million in his account, why does he keep on pretending? The waiter did the transaction, his eyes opened wide as he saw that the transaction was successful.

"Nessa? Let's go!" Seth gave Nessa a hand, lifting her to her feet.

"Thank you… I promise to work extra hours, so I can pay that money back" Nessa said, holding Seth's hand. She has no idea that $7 million was nothing to Seth, she only knew that Seth owns the Auto Cars Mobil and a city square in which she's currently working in.

Although they have an astonishing flow of customers, $7 million was half of the money they make in six months, she can't even bring herself to look at Seth, Nessa bowed her head and thanked God that this nightmare was over, as they walked slowly towards the door.

"Leaving the party already?" Spencer smiled as a group of mercenaries wearing black suits appeared. Spencer couldn't let Seth run free, not after the multiple slaps he received.

He was going to make sure that Seth will gasp his last breath begging on his knees – with his dad's permission, he was able to call the family mercenaries.

Spencer has always been loved by his parents, he gets whatever he wants without any obligations – a 29-year-old still behaving like a spoiled 5-year-old.

Seth smiled as he looked at the mercenaries, this was Mr. Richman's men. He could tell because Richman brought two of his men to his office last year when he came requesting a partnership desperately, he used his capital carelessly and all his hard work will go in vain if he doesn't sign a deal anytime soon.

Seth whispered in Nessa's ear as he lets go of her hand, a sudden silence in the room as Seth walks towards Spencer, it was like another stage of epinephrine inside Nessa's body as Seth left her, She prayed silently.

"How dumb are you?" Seth said as he gave Spencer another slap – one of the mercenaries ran over, punching Seth to the ground.

"No… I believe the question is how dumb are you?" Spencer asked, looking at Seth lying on the floor as he laughed.

Nessa was almost having a heart attack as she saw Seth bleeding, Seth stood up taking a few steps backward as he regains his stamina, he had a weird and mischievous smile on his face as he spits out blood.

He brought out his cell phone and dialed Richman's number, he only said a few words which he whispered into the phone and ended the call.

Spencer couldn't care less why Seth was smiling, he wanted to see him bleed, regardless of what – Spencer's cell rang.

"Yes?" he answered arrogantly.

"What the hell did you do?" Mr. Richman's voice roared out of the phone.

"Am just teaching someone a lesson, it isn't a big deal, why are you getting mad?"

"You fool…. I am on my way over and you better be on your knees begging him and hoping he forgives you if it isn't too late!"

Spencer looked at Seth, wondering why his dad was so concerned about him – but he knows one thing is certain, he'll never go on his knees for a low-life dog like Seth.

The crowd was fretful about what will happen next "Is Mr. Richman coming over?" they all whispered to themselves, most of the fast-raising millionaires in the room all having a partnership with Richman's company.

If Richman was to terminate the contract, their business was going to collapse in due time. The room went silent as they heard tires screeching outside – the engine roared as Richman ran inside the hall, almost exhausted.

Everyone was astonished and couldn't believe that Richman came, "Did this man-made Richman come here?" A lady sitting next to Nessa whispered.

Nessa was also dumbfounded, that is the legendary Richman Stewart who helped so many ballers reach their full potential, he was feared by many because his family also trained the top assassin's in China – his family's name was known as "Blood Phoenix".

There was only one person the Phoenix family feared, and that person was known to be the devil himself, Seth.

Richman ran over to Seth and knelt, bowing his head, as he begs for forgiveness on behalf of what his ignorant son as done.

"Dad, what's going on… Why are you begging this man?" Spencer was also confused as he demanded answers, but Richman ignored him.

"What can I do? The damage is already done! Next time, you should try controlling your bastard son. But unfortunately, they won't be the next time" Seth said with a serious tone as he gave Spencer a smirk. Spencer was speechless because he had no idea of what was going on.

"Very well sir," Richman said as he stood up, "I will have my lawyer send the documents over to your office first thing In the morning… But sir…" Richman hesitated, "Please consider, without my company how am I supposed to take care of my family?" His eyes got watery as he bowed his head because he can't look Seth in the eyes, they are no longer equals, they were never equaled.

"Dad, what do you mean?" Spencer's voice rang through Richman's ear.

"You bastard son!" Richman walked towards Spencer, slapping him. He slapped and punched him continuously as Spencer started coughing out blood – everyone was dumbfounded.

Richman signed a contract with Seth, and Seth agreed to help Richman's company because they have been good friends for a long time, but the only problem was his son, Spencer, an arrogant and self-centered twit – he always had a way to piss off Seth.

Making the deal, Richman agreed that will be the last time Spencer will cause Seth any trouble and if he does, Seth will terminate the contract with him, and he'll have no choice but to hand over his company.

Seth has been waiting for this opportunity, he knew Spencer would be here, but wasn't sure if he would take the bait. Luckily, thanks to Nessa, he can finally checkmate.

Richman explained everything to Spencer and the congregation because he knows that most of them have a partnership with him, but nothing has changed – they will all answer Seth now, the new CEO.

"No, this can't be!" Spencer said with disbelief as he fell to his knees, he remembered Lucy his wife who was pregnant with his kid, how is he going to take care of her and the baby without the company? He crawled to Seth as he started pleading.

"Don't beg me! You should ask her for forgiveness…. Then I might consider" Seth said as he looked at Nessa. Without any hesitation Spencer ran to Nessa as he pleaded, she was so embarrassed and told him he was forgiven, her face was red as she looked at Seth "He did all this for me?" she whispered to herself.

Seth walked over to Nessa taking her hand as they walked towards the door…

"Wait…" Spencer yelled, "She has forgiven me, what about our deal?"

"Sorry… But I don't bargain!" Seth said as he waved his hand "I will be waiting for the documents Mr. Richman, do have a lovely evening" he said as he walked out.

Richman was so embarrassed, he can't even look at his son, he apologized to the congregation once more as he took his leave.

"What in the name of the flying fuck do you mean?" Macy yelled as she wanted to toss her phone to the other side of the room, "Don't tell me to calm down god-damned it… What the fuck do you mean, our accounts are blocked!?" She paced around her room as she speaks with the manager of Wells Fargo bank.

"Am sorry ma'am, there's nothing I can do!" the manager said over the phone.

"You're the manager for God's sake, we've been banking with you for years, and you're telling me shit, how is the account involved in fraudulent activities?"

"Ma'am, I'm afraid you'll have to come to the bank with your documents. Please do have a nice day!"

"Don't you dare end this, call you fat fuc…" Before she could finish her sentence, he hangs up the call, "Jesus… Fucking Christ!" Macy cursed as she dialed Ava's number.

"Hello… We have a problem."
