Snake people, first contact

"Guess that's why they needed a favor," Gustav muttered a theory, "The tribe is cooling down a few monsters here… of course we'd find monsters, damn it."

Afterwards, with his free arm, he tried to man-handle that forty kilogram blaster. The potential enemies were over forty meters away, so he didn't know how much damage a netted blast could cause, if shot from this current spot.

He aimed regardless, and was ready to shoot. Within those few seconds, however, common sense burdened him more than a flu, and it halted him from shooting mindlessly.

The greater intelligence he possessed now, forced him to think twice. He didn't shoot as a result, and as he shoved the blaster away from a solid aiming position, the unexpected happened.

These creatures which they just encountered, weren't as mindless as expected. Apparently, they too were pondering over the threat-levels; They analyzed the newcomers!
