Chapter 13: Guess Who? [Arc.1] (11)
5th Day

Samur woke up feeling all comfortable and content with his sleep
'Though it would've been nice if it was a little warmer~'
'Welp I guess it can't be helped!'
Samur went out of the room and saw the broken door of a room
He walked towards it and saw that there was no one
'Huh? Where the hell did they go?'
Whoosh
A cold breeze of air from who-knows-where came and passed by Samur as he stood alone in the hallway
"..."
'Ahhh! I'm bored~'
Samur closed his eyes as he stroked his chin and pondered for a moment
'Who should I annoy?'
'Austin?'
'Nope. Too boring and scaredy cat'
Achoo!
Austin suddenly wakes up from his sleep as he sneezed
Rubbing his nose he thought 'Damn it, when will it end? It's so cold right now'
Samur then opened his eyes as if he finally found it and thought 'Constellations?'
'Nah they suck'
[Constellation 'God of Death' has an ominous feeling someone is talking bad about him]
[Constellation 'God of War' challenges the person talking bad about him]
Even though it's screens were above Samur, he didn't have time to talk with them as he was busy thinking who he should annoy
'Hmmm, Eru?'
'......No........'
'Ahh!'
Smack!
Samur punched his other palm as he had a wide smile on his face and gleaming eyes as he said "That's it! I know who I should annoy!"
He then licked his canine as he narrowed his eyes in delight and thought 'Ahh, how lovely and exciting, I would love to see his facade face fall apart and show his true color'
'Unfortunately though I don't think he would die from stroke because of my temperament'
Samur then looked around and quiet down his steps as he listened closely to all the rooms
"..."
There was not a single sound...
'This is dumb'
Samur sighed and pulled out the ever-lasting apple from his pocket as he took a bite in annoyance
That's when-
Creak
-A door opened and Cozbi came out of it
Samur: "..."
Cozbi: "..."
'Is this coincidence or is there some divine power at work here helping me?'
Both of them thought simultaneously as they both wanted to see each other for their won purposes
Samur smiled as he said "Hello!"
Cozbi's lips twitched but he still forced out a smile as he said "Hello to you too"
Both of them stared at each other for a moment of silence
Samur silently observed Cozbi and had a bold idea in his mind as he turned around and said "Welp, bye"
"A-ah-!"
Cozbi stuttered as he was taken aback by the attitude and the words in his throat got stuck
Samur stopped and turned to look at him as he raised one eyebrow and asked "Do you need something?"
Cozbi took a breath before he said with an innocent look "Actually, I don't think you and the other are the imposter"
"...And?"
"What?"
"So what about it?"
Cozbi fixed himself as he said with a arrogant look "Everyone else think that he is the imposter and you're conspiring with him, but, maybe if it is me then I might be able to persuade them"
"No, you don't need to"
Cozbi narrowed his eyes dangerously as he asked "Why?"
Samur just smirked as he said "Well I don't really care what others say about me, I respect whatever decision they make"
"But you know, because I never correct a decision someone makes even though I know they are wrong-"
Samur licked his canine as his eyes narrowed in delight and continued "-brings me joy after they regret it"
Cozbi had a sweat on his forehead and felt shivers run down his spine at those words
He thought 'Psycho'
'Maybe I should've instead chosen the brown haired boy to get close with'
Fortunately or not, as the air was getting more suffocating two doors suddenly opened at the same time
Nathan, Miya and Irene came out.
They stared at Cozbi and Samur and was stunned. Why are they with each other?
Just then, another door opened and Austin came out, he flinched when he saw everyone turned to look at him
Samur's smile widened as he strode forward to Austin, holding his wrist he said "Let's go explore before the game ends!"
"Huh-?"
Austin couldn't even finish his sentence as he was mercilessly dragged by Samur's inhuman strength towards the stairs not caring for the other's gaze
As their backs weren't visible anymore, Cozbi finally said "I don't think he is the imposter"
It was sudden that it made everyone widened their eyes
"What?!" Irene exclaimed but then immediately covered her mouth as she made a mistake
Cozbi looked at her as he smiled awkwardly and said "I just think ofcourse, since there is no solid evidence yet"
Even though he was smiling, it couldn't hide the coldness in his eyes
Nathan stared at both Irene and Cozbi suspiciously as he narrowed his eyes and thought 'They probably talked about it'
Miya who was hiding behind Nathan also looked a little bit surprised as her eyes widened
Cozbi glanced at them at the corner of his eyes momentarily before he thought 'Miya probably said the truth to Nathan, but if not, then Nathan still probably suspects her'
'This is getting really annoying, if those damn monsters can't finish this tomorrow then I'll do it myself!'
'I can't control them anymore, great'
'I need to think this true, if Miya or Nathan dies the other will suspect and go to that kid's side'
'If I kill the kid or the boy then I would lose the suspected imposter and could easily be shifted to me'
'But, if I kill Alex, Jean, or Irene then I would lose people on my side'
'Tsk, this is really getting on my nerves, this useless system and monsters can't even do their job!'
Cozbi smiled warmly as he said "Then, shall we wait for the other's in the living room?"
Everyone was reluctant but nodded.

Samur and Austin who were walking in the hallway arrived at the kitchen which made both of then froze on the spot
Austin blinked a couple of times in disbelief as he muttered "W-What...?"
Samur tilted his head as he thought 'Hm, nope. I'm not the one that caused this'
'I mean, yeah I was here at that time when it was still weak and could've closed the window but I was too busy focusing on the phone alright, it's not my fault'
The kitchen was now barely visible to the naked eye as it was flooded with thick piles of snow and more kept coming in from the open window
"The kitchen..."
Austin didn't know what to say anymore, subconsciously, he looked at Samur who was nonchalantly looking at the scene
Samur noticed his gaze as he looked back at him and asked "What?"
Austin had a sweat on his temple as he averted his gaze and said "It's, nothing..."
He thought 'Why do I have a feeling it has something to with this brat?'
'Haah, never mind, I'm going insane now because of all of this'
Meanwhile Samur was grumbling, remembering the face of Cozbi who was completely stunned and angry at him
That face...
He grinned as he thought 'It's so fun to watch his true color slowly coming out'
Austin: "Then, what are we doing here again?"
Samur: "Hm? Oh, well I just got bored and thought I could die with this"
Austin: "What? What does that have to do with me?"
Samur: "You'll do the honors of burying me alive in this snow"
Austin showed a dejected look as he turned around and was about to leave when Samur grabbed his wrist as he pleaded "Oh c'mon, just this once alright? Hm?"
"L-Let go of me-!"
"I don't want to unless you do what I say!"
"Why would I do that?!"
"Come on!"
"I said I won't!"
[Constellation 'God of Death' sighs at player 'Samur Eckart']

After some time later, everyone else other than Samur, Austin, and Eru are now in the living room area again
Jean: "What are we gonna do now?"
"There's only two more days left until the end of the game"
Nathan then took the opportunity and asked Cozbi "What do we really need to do to survive the game?"
Cozbi: "Just like what it said in the task, we need to survive for 7 days"
Nathan: "But there is also a side task of finding the imposter, is surviving 7 days really the only requirement?"
Cozbi: "Ofcourse we need to find the imposter wether it is a side task or not since it is still written"
Nathan nodded his head as if he agreed to Cozbi's statement
He then glanced at everyone and saw them having much more paler look right now
Their skins turned a little frosty ice-like and their eyes were slightly narrowed unconsciously
He thought 'This is bad, all of us are really weak right now'
'Speaking of which'
Nathan glanced at the corner of his eyes to examine Cozbi from head to toe
He then thought 'But why does he look fine? Is it because he is a veteran that they are like this?'
Nathan wanted to know more, it was then that Cozbi turned to look at him aswell
Both stared at each other intently, wanting to gauge out some information
As Cozbi was about to speak they then heard a loud sound
Bang!
They all turned their heads abruptly towards the sound
It was coming from the hallway towards the kitchen
"A-y-you, ahhhh!"
They then heard a screaming voice and they trembled
Irene muttered "W-What is that..."
Cozbi stood up as he said with a frown "Quiet, let's go"
"Go? Go where...you mean-?!"
Cozbi nodded and said "It's better to go than not and stay here waiting for death to come"
Miya and Nathan subconsciously looked at each other, there are only two people that are not present here
Samur and Austin
As they were all gonna go towards the hallway, unbeknownst to them Cozbi grinned as he said in his head
'Clone!'
Bzzsshshhshh
Suddenly, two figures appeared before them
The two had no definite shape and look as they were slender and all dark black
They were also a little bit shaky as if it was a screen that was lagging in pixels
Jean who was at the front took a step back as he said "What the hell are this-?!"
Alex gritted his teeth trying to hide his fear but even so it couldn't be as there was cold sweat on his forehead
Even though there was nothing to be distinguished at this two dark figures, somehow, they felt as if it was staring right at them
Then-
Whoosh!
- It dashed towards Irene at fast speed
Before Jean could even react all that was heard was-
Puek!

"A-y-you, ahhhh!"
Austin was holding onto the door frame as he held onto it tightly while making some screeching sounds from it being scratched by his nails
He screamed "You brat! Let go of me I'm not going there!"
"Why?!"
"I don't want to die okay!"
"But I do!"
"So what?!"
"I need you to help me!"
Samur and Austin were doing a tag of war as Samur wanted to bring Austin with him in the kitchen that is now covered in snow
Seeing that Austin wouldn't budge no matter what, Samur sighed and let go of Austin as he said "Welp too bad I wouldn't be able to do my plan"
Austin who suddenly felt the hand holding his shirt disappeared, he flopped down and sighed in relief
Samur still quietly stared at the snow piling up until it is almost out of the kitchen to the hallway
'Hm, if I let all the snow in the other windows could it make more easier for the thrilling part to come out much more early?'
At this thoughts he smiled mischievously as his red eyes glowed and showed a dangerous glint
'Alright, let's do-'
"Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!"
A loud shrill and scream came through the hallway and Austin jolted as his body stiffened
Samur looked through the hallway although it was dark and nothing could be seen
Loud horrifying screams, unkwon creature lurking in the dark, life and death, starving and freezing to death
All that Samur could think was-
'This is literally the best thing! How exciting!'
"Let's go"
Austin who was lumping on the floor looked up at Samur as he asked "Where- you don't mean?!"
"Yes"
Austin muttered in disbelief "This is crazy..."
But unfortunately for him, Samur could care less about him now that he has something entertaining to see
Samur walked towards it happily and calmly as he hummed a song
"Hmm~ Hmmm~"
Austin stared at Samur's disappearing back, bitting his lower lips he stood up and staggered as he followed him
Even though Samud treated him kind of harshly (very harsh) he is still much more terrified to be left alone in this place so he had no choice but to follow.

After walking for some time, Austin froze and his complexion turned pale in horror
Samur just hummed as he innocently looked at the scene
What greeted them when they arrived at the living room was-
.
.
.
.
.
- Jean's dead body.

Earlier
Puek!
Cozbi blocked the fist of the figure, but the figure didn't budge and instead retracted it's fist like it was nothing
The other figure then also moved and ran towards Jean
"Ah!"
Jean flinched as he blocked his upper body with both of his arms
Bam!
Thud!
"Kugh!"
Alas even so the figure instead moved it's legs and kicked Jean's knees
As he stumbled the figure took this opportunity and used his fist to punch now Jean's loosened arms
"Guh!"
Jean let out a pain sound as his arms separated and the figure was about to do another punch when-
Bang!
The figure jumped backward as it avoided the wooden chair that was thrown to where it was previously standing
It was hard to tell by the looks but they then felt it turned it's head towards the source of where the chair came from
They then saw Nathan standing, frowning as he gritted his teeth and ran
The figure was about to chase after him when it was then hit on the back by a strong force
Thud!
It then fell to it's knees after it's legs were also grabbed and pulled
It was Alex and Jean who did it
Locking the figure, Alex pressed down on it's shoulders with his heavy body and he shouted "Quickly find something to kill it!"
Jean staggered as he stood up with blood on the corner of his lips
Turning to the side he saw Cozbi fighting the other figure as Irene fell to the floor as she was shaking tremendously
Miya and Nathan were looking for useful things to kill the figure
Miya then saw something and shouted towards Jean "Over there!"
Miya pointed behind him, Jean turned to look at where she was pointing and saw a wooden foot of the chair Nathan just threw
Jean was about to run towards that direction when he suddenly heard-
"No! Run!"
Thud!
"Kuek!"
Everyone had terror on their faces
The figure Alex was holding was able to break free and immediately run towards Jean
Jean didn't have time to react and was mercilessly kicked few times on all over his body, until finally-
Thuk!
The figure kicked Jean's chin up as a sound of bone breaking sounded through the living room
Slowly, Jean's body fell lifeless on the floor
Thud
Alex and Nathan tried to run towards him but was all too late
Cozbi gritted his teeth as he shouted "Damn it!"
With the last strength, he was finally able to punch the figure he was fighting
That last punch hit it's stomach as it made a rough wind blew
The figure then was blown away by Cozbi's strength as it flew towards the wall
Bang!
The figure hit the wall and made a large crack, as it flopped to the ground, it then disappeared like pixels
"Haah, hah..."
Cozbi panted, but alas the fight was still not over yet
The other figure still didn't got affected by the situation as it once again moved and now dashed towards Miya who was in the corner
"Ah!"
Miya gasped and wanted to run away but the figure was too fast and she was badly hit by it
After she got blown back by the figure towards the wall, the figure didn't stop and picked her up by the neck
"Guhk!"
Miya was slowly being risen up by the figure as her breathing became rougher from being choked by the figure
"Ah...uhh...."
Barely any words came out of her mouth as she could only make pitiful sounds and tears dripped down from her eyes
Her vision started to get blurry as the legs that have been fighting back was now slowly stopped moving
She thought 'Am I going to die...?'
'I *Hik* I don't want to die...please, anyone, save me...'
Bang!
Just then the figure was grabbed under it's armpits by the back as Narhan shouted "Let her go!"
The figure was dragged back as it's hands on Miya's neck was loosened
Alex also helped as he also pulled the figure while continuously hitting it
"Cozbi!"
Nathan shouted and Cozbi quickly picked up as he was about to go towards Miya
But just then, the figure quickly put strength once again in it's hands around Miya's neck
"Kuh!!"
Bang!
"Miya!!!"
Nathan shouted as Miya was thrown towards the wall once again by the figure as she fall to the ground unconscious
After being hit by Alex several times, the figure finally arced in pain before Cozbi finally punched it with a strong force!
Bszzzh
The figure finally disappeared into pixels
Alex and Cozbi breathed a sigh of relief after it was finally over but Nathan didn't as he once again exclaimed "Miya!" and rushed towards her
He picked her up and saw that there were blood on the back of hear head
His eyes shook as he said "Quickly find something to stop the bleeding!"
Unfortunately, Alex was already busy with Jean's state checking for vital signs, Irene was too scared to stand up while Cozbi was breathing roughly
Nathan gritted his teeth.
Riiip
Nathan ripped a part of his clothes as he used it to circle around Miya's head
He thought 'This is bad...Miya and Jean-!'
As he was being very anxious by the situation, Cozbi was very happy and grinning slyly while his head was lowered to not be seen
'It's unfortunate that Miya might still be alive, but that is for now atleast'
...
2 minutes later, two silhouettes walked through the hallway and there, Austin and Samur was seen.

Samur was slight surprised but was quickly replaced by regret
Regret?
Yes, he was regretting he didn't made it in time to see the fun part
Austin had horror in his face as he looked at the situation, he muttered "What happened..."
"It's the monster"
Cozbi said as he looked at the two with frown
He thought 'Both of them are still fine, then who screamed? Why-? Tsk'
Samur looked at Miya, then looked at Jean, after some thinking he scratched his chin as he said "Well, looks like another one of us is dead"
Alex and Nathan frowned at this
Alex said with his teeth gnashed "How can you be so calm even in this-!"
He was getting very annoyed by the kid's nonchalant attitude that his fist was clenched and blue veins popped on his forehead
"Rather than getting all turned up why don't you guys heal someone that can still be saved?" Samur said as he pointed his chin towards Miya
After saying that, Nathan just frowned and said "Help me carry her to the room"
Alex frowned but helped while Cozbi was about to help Irene, Irene suddenly glared hatefully at Samur and Austin as she said "It's all your fault, all your fault!"
Ofcourse Cozbi and the other's thought that Samur would just be nonchalant or spat out bullshits but what they didn't expect was-
"Heh, really? How so?"
Everyone trembled unconsciously
Samur's voice seemed to be the same but somehow felt very cold that they all stopped moving
Samur's blood red eyes that glowed dangerously looked down at Irene
Even from afar, Irene felt that she was reflected in those red eyes that made it look like she was being covered in blood
Cold swear dropped from her forehead as she trembled greatly from fear
Because Austin was closer to Samur, he felt much more chill and felt like he was being wrapped around by a snake
Cozbi's eyes also shook as he thought 'T-This-!'
It was the same as the eyes of those crazy elite players who is full of nothing but lust
After some moment of silence, Samur smiled as he said with an innocent look "Oh well, looks like she is gonna die because of blood lost"
Everyone came back to their senses at this words and immediately went upstairs not thinking twice
Cozbi also thought that it not might be the right time to provoke him and whispered to Irene
"Let's go, don't say anything anymore"
Irene could only close her eyes and bit her lower lip as she nodded
Cozbi supported her as they also left
Austin that was left didn't know what to do when Samur then said "You go to"
"Ah...o-okay..."
Austin nodded blankly as he felt that his body was not frozen anymore
He looked back at Samur one last time before finally leaving
Samur now finally left alone, heaved a deep sigh as he looked up
His red eyes was dark as it contained some emotions...
Sad, despair, angry...
He wasn't sure, but as he closed his eyes he heard voices of the past
- It's all your fault!
- It's because of you! It's all because if you!
- IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT! ALL YOUR FAULT!
Opening his eyes abruptly, he didn't even notice that his hands were slightly shaking and that there was a sweat on his forehead
He laughed lowly as he muttered "Pathetic me..."
He then scratched his head in frustration as he muttered "This is why it's better to just die"
He didn't know why but he suddenly thought of Eru
Whenever he was with him he felt relaxed and happy as he thought he was always entertained by him
Sigh
After letting out a sigh he somehow felt embarrassed as he pouted his lips and walked towards the stairs to find Eru
He thought 'Maybe, I can calm down a little if I'm with him'
With that in thought, he went searching for him.
