Queen Of Sass

I blushed in embarrassment as Rissa smiled widely. We were currently in the school and on the way here, I told her about that night with Xavier. We had only returned two days ago.


"I'm jealous. Should I go ahead and get on one knee for Jace instead?" I turned to her in utter shock. She smirked.


"You're not the only one whose had fun Quinn." She teased as I laughed. "And you said you don't like him." I said. She shrugged.


"I don't like him doesn't mean I hate the other important parts of him. He's growing on me just like Xavier has grown on you." She said and I smiled in agreement. After that night, I realized I loved Xavier. At some point he almost said the words to me but I had shushed him with a kiss. 


Yes, I love him but I don't think I was actually ready to hear it. I was but I had to take baby steps. Xavier is like a ticking time bomb. I had to be careful in order to deactivate it.


"You two look great together. I'm somewhat glad you got married to him at least. He treats you right." She said with a smiled and I shrugged shyly.


"I know. He's changed a lot too. I'm glad."


"So when's a baby coming?" I frowned at my best friend and sister. She smiled back cheekily.


"Just saying. Jace and I would be amazing godparents." She said smugly as I snickered.


"And you think Xavier would want Crazy and Crazier to godparent our child?" I asked. 


"He really doesn't have a choice. Rosie and Elena are already on board with it. Plan two is already in progress seeing as Xavier already stuck his thing in you. We're waiting for the vomiting and sickness signals." I stared in shock.


"And Jace is crazier. You're welcome." Taking my hand we walked off to the gym for P.E


"You shouldn't be doing this stuff. What if you hurt my godchild?" She asked as we stretched. I glanced around praying nobody heard her.


"Can you stop? I'm not pregnant." I hissed. She only smiled. "Oh you will be. How many times did y'all do it? 12? 7?" I can't with this girl.


Ignoring her I watched as Adrian walked up to us. "Hi Quinn. I haven't heard from you since that day at Tara's." He said and I smiled in apology.


"Yeah.... I've been a bit busy. I'm sorry to keep you afloat like that. Just had to sort some stuff out." I explained.


"Okay. Was wondering if you wanted to grab a bite after school?" He asked and I sighed. It was very obvious that Adrian liked me. Unfortunately I was in love with someone else who happens to be my husband.


"I can't. I've got a schedule today." I declined.


"That's today? Can I come with?!" I nodded at Rissa who squealed in excitement. I had a schedule with Serenity. Rissa didn't see her at the wedding and according to her this was her one chance to finally meet her.


"Okay. Um maybe another time?" He persisted.


"Dude. She's taken. Back off or Xavier will come for you." Rissa warned. Adrian walked off in defeated and I sighed.


This was nothing compared to the hoards of women who ambush me Everytime.
