"Ring" "Ring" "Ring" The school bell went off as all of the students barged their way out through the classroom doors. Aidan ran back to his locker to meet up with Stacy just as he saw a kid wave at him and point at the bathroom to the side. Aidan thought to himself "well this is odd but I don't have anything better to do." He decided to follow the kid into the bathroom. "Hey your name is Aidan right," the kid questioned. Aidan responded "Hi, yeah, it is why, who are you?" "My name's Aaron and I have a friend named Jake, didn't you see him on the news today?" Aidan, feeling bad, replied "Sorry but I never watch the news." Aaron sighed "figures, nobody ever seems to watch the news anymore." "Why, what is it?" Aidan questioned, a little weirded out. Aaron rolled his eyes as he said "look I'll just tell you the short version of it."
"So we're really gonna do this?" asked a nervous Allie. "Yeah no duh" Mindy said. "What if we get caught?" questioned Allie. "We'd never get caught, nobody ever goes in this house." Mindy assured. "Well first of all we're skipping school and second of all we're going to this creepy ass house that nobody ever even comes close to, don't you think it's a little weird that nobody has touched this place for years?" asked Allie. "Look we're fine, besides Evans covering for us, nobody's gonna find out anything." said a very confident Mindy. "Well I'm not getting in trouble so I'm sorry but I'm out, bye." said Allie knowing it was for the best before running off back to school. "Ok loser" an agitated Mindy snapped back. Mindy finally arrives at the old, dark decrepit building. "Well, here we go." Mindy whispers under her breath as she starts walking up to the dark, rotting, old wooden stairs that look like they're gonna cave in the second she steps on them. Mindy then starts walking up them and they surprisingly don't. "Eww" Mindy says as she walks up to the damp, rotten front wooden door. She stares at it for a while having second thoughts but then decides to open it. "Omg gross!" she exclaims the second she walks in. "What did someone die in here or something?" she whispered to herself. She walked into what looks like a 1910s living room but it looks so old and worn that she could hardly even make out the couch. She pulls out a pack of cigarettes and a lighter out of her pocket and assures herself that this is ok. She takes a cigarette out of the carton and holds the lighter up to it but just as she starts to light it a huge fleshy hole opens up beneath her as she screams as loud as she ever has before "HELP!!!!!" she cried out as she fell down into it. Mindy wakes up but doesn't remember where she was but then, as she looked around all she could see were walls of what looked to be flesh. "OMG" "OMG" "HELP ME!" she screamed as loud as she could hoping someone could possibly hear her. "OMG" she tried to say but then realized she screamed so loud that she lost her voice. Just as she starts to calm down and think logically of how this could happen the pink, mushy, fleshy walls around her begin to close in around her. "AHHHHH!" she tried to cry out but all that seemed to come out were mere whispers. Just as they all start closing around her faster and faster she sees a way out above her. "No duh, it's the way I came from." Mindy thought to herself. She tries to climb out but it's no use. The walls are way too slippery to grab onto. Then right out of nowhere a ladder appears in front of her "Thank god!" she thinks to herself, the most thankful she's ever been, not even questioning how it got there. She grabs the ladder and starts climbing up it. But then just as she steps onto the last rung of the ladder, it starts melting into the same fleshy stuff the walls are made of. "AHHHH" Mindy Cries out as she falls and then, just before she reaches the bottom the walls close in instantly. "Splat" someone could've heard above her, if there was anybody.
"Oh my god I can't believe someone's dad could do that to them." a shocked Aidan exclaimed. "No, there's more, you see, I knew Jake's dad and he did drink a lot but I don't think his dad could ever do such a thing. His dad was an alcoholic, not a killer." Aaron stated very confidently, knowing he was right. "Then who did?" Aidan questioned "There's no way out of that basement except the stairs right?" Devan thought about it for a second "No, at least I don't think there is," he exclaimed. "However, we could wait until the police leave the scene and look," said a hopeful Aaron. "Well, I just met you but I can try and help." Aidan offered. Ok, then after the next few days the police should be gone so we'll do it then. DO you by any chance have a phone number I can call you on?" asked Aaron. "Yeah, I do it's 420-452-2022" Aidan said. Ok thanks, I'll call you sometime soon, see ya!" Aaron said as he ran out. "Well, I was not expecting that." Aidan thought to himself. "Aidan, is your lying ass in there?" someone said outside of the bathrooms. "Oh yeah, I forgot about Stacy." Aaron thought to himself as he ran out to her. "You were supposed to meet me by our lockers, not have a masturbation session in the bathroom" Stacy said sarcastically. "Hey, I'm sorry I was talking to a friend." Aidan said. "Oh really and who may that be?" Stacy questioned. "I just met him and his name is Aaron. But his friend just died and he's trying to get to the bottom of it so in a few days he's going to call me and we're gonna go to his house to investigate." Aidan explained. "Ok, I wanted to know who you were talking to, not a whole novel you wrote yourself into." Stacy said sarcastically. Aidan gave her his serious look. "Oh, Holy shit you're serious?" Stacy exclaimed. Yeah, why wouldn't I be? Aidan questioned. "Aidan, it's you, I never know what you mean." They both laughed. Well, now I have to come now" Stacy said. "Ok fine, I'll ask," Aidan said. Ok, well now we're both late to class so let's go get a pass" Stacy said. "Ok, let's go," Aidan agreed.
