CHAPTER 3

Mathilde is the one who washes Alondra's clothes when she goes to the city all day, but she is always rejected because they are only looking for a diploma, so she is having difficulty finding work. So she'll look for it because she wants Mathilde to be able to study like other people her age in her area. Even if she does not do the first study.

When the bank called, Leandre was irritated because his wife, Jade, had withdrawn a large sum. He is currently in the meeting room, facing investors. The call, however, bothered him because of what that woman had done. Perhaps she intended to irritate him. So he wants to return home and fight her. Leandre understands that their marriage is the only thing that binds him to Jade, and he has had no feelings for her since he saw her with a handsome man in their room before doing something nefarious.

At the time, he felt as if heaven and earth had fallen on him, so he decided to leave her. But the thickness of Jade's face keeps approaching him because they are married but have no children. Perhaps she would refrain from spending his money in the bank out of frustration at his disapproval of her. Leandre was still too preoccupied with his life to deal with their divorce, so his resentment towards that woman will fade. He was distracted by that woman, so he told his assistant, Hamid, that he would be the first to speak with investors. Minutes passed before Leandre left the office and drove to the bank.

After his transactions in the bank. She went straight to his mommy's house. He found her sitting near the pool at her house when he came in. Leandre took a deep breath upon approaching.

“What’s with your breath, son? Is Jade your problem again?" his mother asked.

  "Yeah. It's always," he replied.

"Aren't you tired? Just file a divorce so she can stop giving you problems. If your business is the reason, I'll do it." his mother said in a serious voice.

"Mom, that's my problem. So I'll do it," he said.

"But since when? I didn't raise you just to be hurt by that useless woman. Her face is too thick because she is married to a rich person like you. Just look what she has done to you. Oh my." said his mother.

That his mother remembers Jade cheating on him.

His mother's heart has turned away from her since she discovered Jade cheated on him. Instead of being his wife, she refers to Jade as his useless woman. So his mother's pleasant demeanor toward Jade vanished like a bubble. As a result of her actions, Jade has become a desperate woman. Leandre never asked Jade what he was missing in there now that she had found another man. He admits he was very busy at work, but that isn't an excuse for her to hurt him. He sat near his mother.

Although her father has been lost for three years, Leandre has never seen his mother remarried. She was content to be alone in her home with her granddaughter, Lindsay's daughter. But she is in Hawaii, where she lives with her Spanish husband. They agreed to let?their daughter live with his mother since, Francheska, is eighteen years old.

"Where's Cheska, mom?" he asked upon diverting the topic.

If their conversation about Jade is like his days were being looked bad and making him stressed.

“Sleeping in her room, that girl doesn't like to go out and unwind. " his mother replied.

“It'd been better you hadn't had a problem dealing with her. When she likes to unwind and party she will give you headaches and problems because she will find a boyfriend at an early age. ” Leandre said, laughing.

"It's okay, it's so nice that she goes out and finds a boyfriend, then she buries herself in the room," Mother replied.

“Whatever, Grandma. You’re talking too much. I hate boys they are annoying. ” Cheska interrupted their conversation.

She was carrying a netbook while sitting in front of them. She stood up again to kiss me on the cheek,

"So what do you prefer to date?" his mother asked.

"Schucks, grandma. You want me to get pregnant at an early age?" Cheska asked.

"What? I just said to unwind and find a boyfriend, I didn't say to get pregnant." said his mother.

  Chiska rolled her eyes.

"Whatever, grandma. That's how it goes. Certain things happen when you're in a relationship. That's stressing me out. Having a friend or having a relationship with a boy is different so stop me." Cheska said.

"You annoy me, Francheska. You had many explanations." her mother said.

“Of course. Hi, Uncle. I’m surprised to see you here at this hour. ” Cheska asked.

“I thought of hanging out here. I’m bored in the office, ” he replied.

"Or is it all about your scumbag wife, who is constantly putting you down??Why don't you divorce her so she can't stop bothering you? " Cheska said, rolling her eyes.

Leandre burst out laughing. Francheska despises his wife even back then. Jade, too, felt the same way. Lindsay's daughter, as sweet as she is, had a bad temper. Lindsay's husband was also gracious. He had no idea where their daughter's demeanor had come from.

"I was annoyed when I saw what she was posting on social media about how expensive her new Prada bag from Paris was, but she didn't think the money was yours, but she still managed to fool you. What a waste. So damn lucky bitch she is," Cheska frowned.

"I was annoyed when I saw what she was posting on social media about how expensive her new Prada bag from Paris was, but she didn't think the money was yours, but she still managed to fool you. What a waste.

"Stop it, Cheska! You don't have manners toward her." her mother said.

"No, grandma. She's overdoing it." Cheska reasons out.

"Yeah, we all know that. But let's keep quiet."

  Francheska looked at him.

"You're far too gracious and humble, Uncle. That is why that woman is excessive. Why don't you look for someone who isn't even a socialite or wealthy? So long as she gives you the love you deserve. She was so preoccupied with her happiness that she forgot to give you a child. Because if you divorce, you will have a child without a wife. You should avoid toxic people like her. There are many women along the way," she said with a raised snout, continuing to type on her netbook's keyboard.

"I guess you're offended by what she was doing?" Mommy asked.

  Cheska nodded.

"And I'm angry as well. Uncle was so handsome and wealthy but look at him. That woman even managed to fool him. She is very lucky. If I were in her shoes, I wouldn't let go of someone like Uncle," Cheska said.

"Francheska, no matter what you do, you will never understand human behavior; no matter how perfect your Uncle Leandre is for you, he will be hurt, and someone will hurt him. That is what life is," her mother explained.

"Yeah, I know that," Cheska replied.

When Leandre looked at Cheska, he laughed in his head. He was the oldest, and Lindsay was the youngest, but look at her now. She had an adult daughter with a lovely face. He would have had a daughter like this if he had married first. But he is skeptical because Jade will not be a good mother, but if it is another woman, it is still possible.

"Enough with the noise. Are you always like this here, arguing over trivial matters?" he asked.

"Of course, uncle. That's how I show my love to grandma. If I'm not here, what about her? She doesn't want to marry again," Cheska responded, laughing.

His mother gives her a stern look, but Cheska bursts out laughing.

"How about we go to the city to unwind?" he proposed.

"That sounds good to me, Uncle; just get me some ice cream, and how about you, Grandma?" Francheska asked.
