CHAPTER 56

  Queen Genesis' Point Of View

I still can't believe that I will now meet the son of Zhang and Nithialyne, the two greatest elites. Today, the scheduled day of our fight after Zenith rushed to my office to see Palm and to talk to me. That time, she challenged me again and I could no longer have the rights to refuse her. She kept the promise to me so I had to do the same.

Warriors filled the entire mini gymnasium for such occasions. I really expected this to be their reaction when they found out about it, its a battle against the Queen of the Academy and the new comer but Zenith will throw something.

I shouldn't lower my defense because it's reflected in her eyes that will take my breath away. The way she looks at me … it's so cold and fierce.

There is only one thing I want to happen now. Her ability to control herself and further develop it. Including that when she lost to me she would not involve the school in their organization. We're doomed when Mr. Zilver is the one I face.

I first looked at Palm upstairs where they were standing and those other spectators of the upcoming match. She was worried too much about Zenith, I didn't want to do it but I couldn't hurt myself because I knew she also knew that Zenith wouldn't give in to me. She witnessed that herself the other day when Zenith rushed to us, regarding Palm’s decision for her.

"I understand you, Palm just in case we know what's in store for him so I'm sure Zenith won't let you do what you want—"

What I was saying was interrupted when the elevator opened and Zenith and Vior were released as Palm and I hurried to come.

"Z-Zenith … are you o-okay?" Palm asked as if shocked to see it.

Zenith stared at her sharply. "What is it that I heard that you will bring me back without my permission? That's unfair. You brought me here to be a warrior, right? Then you were also the one who wants me gone?"

"How did you? No! That's not what I want to happen. Let me explain," Palm insisted to her fearfully.

"I know that you're just concerned about me but I'm not leaving this place, especially since I haven't fought that woman yet!" she taught me at the same time.

Vior tried to calm her down, "Zenith … calm down."

"Can we please just talk in peace?" I suggest to them.

"Peace? There were no peace!" Zenith exclaimed and then approached me. "Listen to this. I'm done with your shits so keep the conversation and fight me."

I looked at Palm and Vior who were also just waiting for me to answer.

I guess I have no escape here. I sighed heavily and replied, "Fine. It's up to you when you want or where. Just tell me 'cause I'm always ready …"

"Good. Half day classes tomorrow, right? I want it to happen today but let's do it tomorrow. I'm not in the mood," she stated with a smile and somehow became calm unlike before.

"Is that all?" I will ask.

She nodded then turned back to Palm. "I'm not done with you. Let's talk outside, I don't need anything else here. You won't refuse, will you?"

"No. We don't have anything to talk about anymore dear queen so we can talk," said Palm. "That's better. Let's go," Zenith said then turned to go to the elevator.

Vior first paid his respects to me as a farewell and then followed suit. I turned to Palm then smiled when I saw her looking at me.

"You don't have to worry, Palm. This time? I'm sure the fight between the two of us won't be bad for her. I assure you that," I said, because that's what she wanted to hear from me.

She bowed and said, "We'll go first, Queen Genesis." I just smiled and let them go.

When the elevator closed and started moving downhill I turned to the window to look at the sky. The weather was nice, the surroundings were very pleasant and the breeze was clean.

But today is the day. After our fight I will tell her everything I know about her parent and why she was chosen. She's now staring at me intimidating like a predator hunting her prey, and that was me.

"Queen … Zenith? You all know the rules. We want a fair fight between you two so—"

"There are no rules to follow. This is a death match so lives are at stake," she cut off to Rhimean who surprised everyone here.

  "Death match?"

"Is she sure? The queen is the one she can fight so it's impossible for her to win …"

"But isn't it? Don't you remember that she won to Chief Rhimean in a fight so that means she has little chance of winning against the queen."

"Yeah right. It's different! Did you hear that? Death match will happen against then the queen will face her."

"Aish! Just watch and be quiet," I heard the other warrior spectators say. They have calmed down.

"What? Do you agree with what I want to happen against us? I don't want to fight with you when no life is at stake," Zenith said which grabbed my attention. There is nothing wrong with that.

I smiled then declare, "Death match it is."

We heard sighs all around, perhaps surprised by my decision. I'm sorry Palm but I won't give Zenith this last training.

"Don't let me down, Genesis!" its promise then released electricity on both sides. She's already fired up.

"Woah! She can also use lightning like Uno! They just have the same power?" I heard their language.

Zenith, on the other hand, put her hands together so it made an impact and then the electricity increased and expanded. She can use all the powers that specialist does, the legend daughter.

I guess, I have to go all out too.
