CHAPTER 24 Cannot cry

　　Loretta’s POV

　　*FLASHBACK*

　　“Yes!” I said, so happy! Having spent the whole day mourning that I was not going out on my birthday made my eyes swollen. But that was just fine. Daddy said we were going to town and I think I couldn’t hold my excitement anymore. At least, not inside my room, where nobody would hear me.

　　“Would you just keep quiet?” Ah, Kyna. Sure.

　　“It is MY day so you stay quiet!” I told her. The girl was a nuisance! Seriously, having an older sister should be nice and fun, but she was just an old rag, nagging anytime she had the opportunity.

　　“I am just trying to comb your hair.” Kyna said.

　　“Yeah, just do it. That is why daddy keeps you.” The moment I said it, I regretted it. Kyna was the daughter of my father’s first wife, who was, curiously, my aunt. So… Kyna was my cousin-half-sister or the sort.

　　The thing is, her mother cheated on daddy with a rogue and since then, daddy didn’t like her, which made her become an omega. Humiliating.
