My Henry

Ivy stands in Derek's office, smoothing down her dress as Derek shows her, Owen, and Mark the plans for his dream house with Meredith.

"This whole wall will be windows so we can take advantage of the view," Derek explains.

Owen asks, taking a sip of his drink, "Nice, have you broken ground yet?"

Derek nods, "The day I was named Chief."

"You know, at my parties, we drink beer and dance on tables," Meredith walks in.

"Are you insulting my party?"

Ivy shakes her head, "No, she is pointing out the fact that she is inviting me to her next party."

Meredith nods at her, "Of course. But it's getting kind of lame out there."

"Duty calls," Derek tells us.

Ivy exits the room first, going to find her friends. She finds them eating in the corner of the room, "Well, look at you."

Ivy laughs and does a little spin at Reeds comment, "Yeah, it's been a while since I have actually dressed up, so here I am."

She goes to stand next to Reed, "I'm going in."

"No, you can't. Its inappropriate," April whispers to Reed as Ivy steals some food off Jacksons plate.

"Whats inappropriate?" Ivy asks.

April looks at her, "Reed is going to proposition Dr. Sloan. Which I'm sure you have a problem with as he's basically your brother and this is your brothers house."

Ivy chuckles, "Nah, have fun, don't need to hear the details on this one later."

"Jackson, this is the chiefs house, right?" April tries to get someone on her side.

"No, you do you, girl," he says with his mouth full.

Ivy and April both slap his arm, but for different reasons. April and Jackson quietly bicker as Reed makes her way to Mark. As they talk, Mark looks to Ivy as to ask, 'are you gonna get mad if I do this?' Ivy shakes her head and motions for them to go.

April looks at her, "Why are you encouraging them?"

"Because, everyone needs to have a little fun once in a while. It will happen tonight, then probably never again, so whatever," Ivy comments.

Ivy sits on the counter in the bathroom, with Reed pacing in front of her, "How am I supposed to look her in the eye ever again?"

"So let me get this straight, you were naked in Marks bed while he was in the shower and Altman walked in in just her bra and underwear. Then, in true Mark fashion, he proposed a threesome and you looked to her?" Ivy clarified.

Reed nods, "How screwed am I?"

Ivy purses her lips, "Its a good thing that you don't want to go into cardio."

And with that, she walks to the pit to meet with Callie, Reed yelling behind her, "Not helpful!"

Filling out the patients chart, Ivy listens as they talk on the phone, "Yes, Andrew, I said surgery. Now, wait, wait. Would you explain to my son why he doesn't need to worry?"

Callie puts her ear up to the phone, "Hello? Hi. Um...your mom has some broken bones in her forearm, but, uh, we're gonna put some small metal plates in, and then she'll be discharged tomorrow. Okay, bye," the phone is pulled away before she finishes.

"See, dear? So don't jump on a plane. No, I'm gonna call you right after surgery. Well, love you, too, darling. Bye-bye. Oh, my son, the lawyer. Hes single, very nice, a little bit older," she says, looking between Ivy and Callie.

"Oh, um, I'm not really looking for anyone right now," Ivy smiles.

Lexie happened to be standing by, "What about you, Reed? You go for older guys, right?"

Reed gives her a look and walks away, Ivy stands and smiles at the patient before taking Lexies arm and guiding her away, "As you said, you are kind of dating someone, which means who Mark sleeps with, is none of your concern. Stop trying to control all my friends feeling and lives with they can and cannot date. It's not up to you."

"Mark and Derek are your brothers and you are just-" Lexie starts.

"-You're right. They are my brothers. I have known them both my entire life and I've never seen Mark in such a committed relationship as he was with you. You ended it, which means you don't get to be all controlling over who he sees. You can feel sad and upset but do not, and I mean do not, take it out on my friends," Ivy lectures, turning to go back to the patient.

Callie looks up, "Everything good?"

"Yup."

We start moving her up to a room when we hear, "Betty?"

"Yes," our patient responds.

"Its Henry. Henry Stamm," he calls out.

Betty holds her good hand out for the nurses to stop moving the bed, "Henry? Henry Stamm? Oh, my God. Its-that-thats Henry Stamm."

She looks between him and us, "Betty Flynn," he says, almost in tears.

"Oh, but my last name is Donahue now," Betty tells him.

"You-you married Mike Donahue?" He asks.

Betty nods, "May he rest in peace. And you? Oh, how- how- how is Irene?"

"Oh, she died... ten years ago this August," Henry gets out as Cristina, Owen, and Teddy work on him.

"I'm so sorry. Are-are you okay?" Betty is trying her hardest not to smile, but was failing.

Ivy smiles at their little interaction, "Just a little fall. You?"

"Fender bender."

He smiles at her, "You look good, Betty."

Betty scoffs, "I'm an old lady, Henry."

"Well, you look pretty damn good for an old lady to me," Henry tells her.

Cristina has enough of the love fest, "You know, maybe we should keep this area clear for emergencies?"

Henry tries to reason with her, "We-we haven't seen each other in half a century, miss."

"Oh, well, all the more reason for you to wait a little longer for your reunion," Cristina dramatically tells him.

"Yang," Webber warns.

Ivy steps towards Henry, "She'll be in room 31-28. Okay?"
