having a discussion about where the fifth year residents are going to do their fellowship, if they are going stay at Seattle Grace or move to one of their fellow offers from different hospitals.
"Where are we with Avery?" Owen asked Mark, seeing as every fifth year resident's name is written on the board.
"Holding offers from U.S.C. , Penn, Tulane and Emory." Mark told him, "Tulane and Emory are in love. They want him bad."
"Grey?"
"Uh still between Boston and Seattle." Derek looked up at Owen who let out a sigh.
"If I'm gonna lose one of my talented residents and my top Neurosurgeon, I'd love a decision sooner than later." Owen informed Derek.
Derek closed the blue folder on the desk, "You and me both, Hunt."
"Carter?"
"Still between UCLA and Seattle. Although, there's holding offers in New York Presbysterian and Mayo Clinic." Derek nodded.
Owen nodded as he turned around writing the hospitals names under Allison's name. "Uh Yang?"
Mark looked at Owen, "Well, she didn't tell you?"
"Uh, Stanford and Columbia are playing hardball. But I'm confident we're still in the mix." Teddy answered before they could get on the topic why Owen didn't know where his wife was going to do her fellowship.
"Well, Karev is staying." Arizona happily announced.
Owen sighed in relief, as he added a checkmark next to Alex's last name. "If we are out this many surgeons, I'm gonna need to hire now, so let's get answers from our people as soon as possible. Thank you." The attending's began to stand up and pack their folders as Owen spoke up again, "And let's not forget that we've agreed to assist Boise Memorial with their conjoined twin surgery, so make sure your teams are ready to leave from the lobby no later than 10:00 tomorrow night."

After a night of partying to celebrate passing the boards, and April drinking the night away, the residents are back to doing rounds and deciding where they are going to go for their fellowship.
Cristina and Allison are walking down the hospital hallway when Meredith caught up to them, "I made a decision."
"You have?" Allison asked, seeing as Meredith was deciding whether to stay in Seattle or move to Boston.
"You're going to Stanford and Allie here is going to UCLA." Meredith nodded, as she walked beside them.
"Oh, you made the decision for us."
"There's no way you're going to Columbia and Allie, Mayo's in Minnesota. Please." Meredith said, "And since we're staying here, Stanford's only a couple hours away and so is UCLA. You both could come up, and I'll bring Zola down, we can get drunk on the weekends." Meredith realized what she said, "Okay, well maybe I shouldn't bring Zola, and maybe Allie could come up here and hang out with Derek."
Before Cristina and Allison could say anything a voice stopped them, "Hey!" Teddy stopped in front of them. "Is there anything you want to go over on the conjoined twins before you head out to Boise?"
"Uh, No. I'm, uh, I'm good." Cristina shook her head.
"You sure? 'Cause you're gonna be the sole cardiothoracic surgeon representing Seattle Grace." Teddy reminded, "Which, I mean, you know, is kind of unheard of for an attending to allow her fellow to do." She leaned in to whisper to Cristina, "But that's just the kind of faith I have in you."
Cristina looked at her friends beside her, "Technically, I'm not a fellow yet."
Teddy chuckled, "I know. Right? I mean, so just think about all the things that you're gonna be able to do when you are. Tip of the iceberg, Yang. I'm proud of you."
Once Teddy left, Allison and Meredith looked at Cristina as Meredith spoke, "You haven't even told her you're leaving?"
"I haven't decided yet where I'm going." Cristina reasoned.
"You just did." Meredith reminded, "Stanford."
"Hopkins!" The three of them heard someone yell causing them to turn around to see Alex grinning as he ran towards them.
"Uh, Hopkins is not in the running." Cristina informed him.
Alex laughs, "Not for you. For me. Hopkins. Hopkins wants me. Hopkins wants "
The three of them share a look as Cristina spoke, "John Hopkins the hospital?"
"Alex, how?" Allison furrowed her brows, remembering Alex really didn't get as much offers as the others.
"Not Hopkins refrigeration school?" Cristina asked, causing Allison to softly slap her arm.
"Stop it." She chuckled, as they gestured for Alex to speak.
"I kinda bitched out their Chief of Surgery at my boards, and I-I-I guess he was impressed." Alex let out another laugh. Allison and Meredith let out a smile.
"So they know you're a jerk?" Cristina questioned.
"They totally know." Alex nodded as he smiled, "And they want me. Hopkins wants me."
"I'm not surprised at all." Meredith smiled. Allison hummed in agreement.
"You deserve it, Alex." Allison nodded, smiling at him.
"I am 100% surprised." Cristina said, as Alex shrugged getting ready to leave but Cristina stopped as she pulled him into a hug, "Nice work, evil spawn."
Alex smiled before he walked away, clapping his hand as he yelled, "Wohoo, Hopkins."

"You and Jackson had sex the night before the boards and during the boards?" Derek asked as the two were on the elevator. "And now you're kinda avoiding him, by not talking about it."
Allison nodded, "That's about right." Allison stared at the doors before turning around to face Derek, "Shep, Did I cheat on Micheal? Because it feels like cheating."
"You and Micheal aren't official. That isn't cheating." Derek assured her, "You need to make a decision, Allie, before leading both men on." The elevator doors opened as Mark entered and Derek looked at him, "How's Julia? You impregnate her yet?"
Allison eyes went wide, "What? You and Julia are trying to get pregnant?"
"No." Mark immediately answered, "I was ready to, but then Lexie..." He took a deep breath, "Oh, she told me she was in love with me."
