CHAPTER 1

It s a usual morning in Beijing, people are moving at their own accord going to their jobs but in a penthouse bedroom, a boy is seen sleeping. The boy is in his twenties and is sleeping covering himself from all sides by his blanket, hiding in it like a cocoon making anyone looking at him coo with cuteness. A peaceful silence is spreading in the room as the wind is blowing from an open window and the breathing of the person is falling with the regular rhythm of the movement of air.

This person is none other than Xiao Wang Yibo, or Wang Yibo as he prefers to call himself, who is resting after a week full of hectic schedules. He is one of the highest-paid actors in the country and is known for his good looks and indifferent behavior. He is known as the cool guy and is considered the dream boy of every woman, and last year, he was awarded the title of the ideal bachelor of the year but little did the world know that their favorite star has a secret that can break millions of hearts as he already belongs to someone who he has never met.

The time is passing slowly in this serene environment when suddenly the peacefulness is disturbed by a shrieking sound. The alarm set at 10:00 am rang disturbing the peace as well as the serenity of the room. Yibo who is sleeping peacefully groans when he hears the alarm. He fishes out his phone and without opening his eyes, speaks, "why do you always disturb my sleep?", with this, he switches the alarm off and again resumes his sleep.

As he is about to drift to his sleep, a knock is heard on his door which makes the person groan and speaks,

" Why are you disturbing my peaceful sleep?"

With this, he covers his ears and tries to sleep again but the knocking did not stop which made him get up in frustration and open the door to lash out at the person.

But as he opens the door, he found his secretary and also best friend looking at him with a frown face.

He was about to speak when the person in front of him speaks, "Yibo, do you know what time it is?"

Yibo who is woken up from his precious sleep frowns at the voice as he speaks, "you must be knowing better, Cheng!"

"Why so?" Asked Cheng

"Because you woke me up!" Spoke Yibo with irritation.

Cheng, the Secretary and also a friend of Yibo frowned but didn't reply as he knew he can't win from the person in front of him.

Yibo seeing his secretary quiet smiled in victory and was about to turn to resume his sleep when suddenly Cheng spoke, "you know what day it is?"

Yibo who heard the word of his secretary stopped in his tracks and turned around to see Cheng smiling and seeing that Yibo realized that he is forgetting about something. Yibo knits his brows together as he tries to remember what he forgot but as he is not able to remember it so he looks at the person in front of him.

Cheng on seeing the gaze of Yibo smirked and turned his head to the other side. Yibo when saw this frowned and spoke, "tell me"

Cheng who was teased by his friend earlier wanted to take revenge so on seeing his friend in worry, now he wanted to tease the other so in a playful mood he speaks, "not gonna tell."

Yibo when heard this got irritated as from seeing the person in front of him with such a teasing smile he guessed that it must be something important. As he sees Cheng in a playful mood he knew that when this friend of his is in a playful mood, he never agrees on things this easily, so he tries the only method he knows to make the other speak.

Yibo smirked internally as he spoke with a stern voice, "Your boss is asking you about something, is this a way to reply to him."

Cheng who heard Yibo's stern voice know that now he need to submit himself so he speaks, "boss, today is 16th March"

Yibo who heard frowned, "so what?" As he is not able to remember what he has forgotten

Cheng who saw his boss not having a clue rolled his eyes as he spoke, "Mr. Wang Yibo!"

"Yes" replied Yibo and looked at Cheng with a confusing face.

Cheng when saw the face of Yibo sighed as he speaks, "sir, you have a moto race for a charity event."

Yibo who heard this widened his eyes as he has completely forgotten about it. As he remembers about it he looks at Cheng and asks, "when is the race scheduled?"

"At noon!"

Yibo who heard it looked at his clock and saw it already 10:30 am

"Shit" he cursed.

"Why didn't you woke me earlier?" Whined Yibo.

Cheng who heard it spoke, "you were more interested in sleeping"

Yibo who heard it glared at his friend and rushed inside his room to get ready leaving Cheng on the door only. Cheng who saw this knew what is going to happen so he took out his phone and texted someone,

" He is late again"

And waits for a response as well as for Yibo. After taking shower and packing his biking gears, Yibo with his bag rushes out and looks at Cheng while wearing his shoes, "let's move"

Cheng who heard this frowned and speak, "what about your meal?"

Yibo who heard this spoke, "I can have it later let's move"

With this, he moves toward the door of the penthouse followed by Cheng who fishes out his phone while hearing ping sound as he opens a chat which read,

" And he again skips his breakfast, right!"

Cheng when sees the message smiles a little and wrote back, "yes"

There was an immediate reply, "it will be taken care of!"

As he was about to type he heard Yibo shouting, "Come on Cheng, you are making me late"

Cheng who heard it sighs and spoke, "coming"

With this, he enters the elevator after Yibo and presses the ground floor button, after a few minutes the elevator opens on the ground floor, and a car with a driver is seen waiting for the boss.

As the driver saw Yibo coming he opens the door for Yibo, who slides in with Cheng following him, and the car set for its journey to the event place.

Yibo on entering the car saw food packets and in curiosity opens them, and his face widens with a smile as all the food is his favorite. He turns toward Cheng as the only person according to Yibo who knows him is Cheng, and spoke, "You are the best, Cheng, thanks for the food"

Cheng who heard Yibo replied, "Your welcome" while his internal thoughts are, "you must thank someone else" but he didn't voice it out as he sees Yibo eating brunch peacefully.

They reached the destination at 11:30 am from where Yibo rushed into his changing room for a change which took 15 minutes of his. After Changing Yibo rushed out of the room and entered the cockpit and was greeted by his team, Yibo nods at everyone and proceeded toward the pace where his bike was standing. He kneels in front of his bike which he called Baby.

"Baby, we are going to win today too" and then kisses the bike, with this announcement was heard calling for the participant.

Yibo when heard the announcement straighten himself and looks at everyone. After a few minutes, he speaks, "everyone, ready"

The team members who heard it spoke, "yes"

Yibo smiled at everyone and took the helmet and keys to his bike and proceeded toward the starting point. The stadium today was not that much occupied by the spectators as this race is a charity event that did not have great media coverage.

Yibo loved racing as it made his life interesting and filled with challenges. It added to the thrill in his life, he has been doing racing since 14 years of age and has taken part in a variety of events and won various championships, last year he won the title of Asia racing championship.

The stadium today is less occupied but it didn't make the adrenaline in his blood lowered down. The thrill is the same whether the stadium is full of spectators cheering for him. All the participants have gathered on the starting point for a 20 lap race, yibo looks around and smiles at himself, and speaks, "we are going to win"

With this, a gunshot is heard marking the start of the race. Yibo who heard it rushed for his win. The race was small but for Yibo every race is big no matter whether it will bring him fame or not.

He is on the lead from the starting lap but as the end is approaching he finds one of his competitors approaching him and trying to overtake him. Yibo when sees this smirks and turns up the ignition to increase his speed as this is the second last lap, and he is only one lap away from the win. As he is chasing his win he feels adrenaline rush into his blood as only the last lap is left and he is chasing for first place with a number 95. It was neck to neck but at last, he won and as he crosses the finish line the whole stadium roars with applause.

Yibo after stopping his bike smiles and kisses his bike as he speaks, "we did it again baby, we won" and then does some of his dance moves to express his happiness.

With this, he looks at his team who is standing at the cockpit smiling and cheering for him. Yibo rushes to his team and speaks, "we won" and looks at everyone who is watching him.

As he is watching everyone, he fails to notice a pair of eyes who has been watching him from starting with interest and care from the VIP section. The eyes hold love and admiration for him and as he sees the boy winning he jumps in happiness from his seat and claps for the boy. He is happy seeing the boy shouting "We Won!"

But as he sees this he can't control himself so he also raises his hand and does a fist in the air and speaks, "WE WON!"
