CHAPTER X

We celebrate Christmas Eve like a normal couple. We visit the town market and buy items that catch my eye. We also got time to play games. After that, it was midnight when a firework flew up to the sky. It was beautiful, everything was beautiful when I was with Reeves.

REEVES' POV

The warm sunlight was touching my skin. I opened my eyes when I noticed that Kyenzi was no longer there. Where is he?

My heart skips for a moment.

Did he run away?

I shook my head.

No, he's not Wellian, the two of them are different. If Kyenzi want to go home, he would inform me. He knows me better than anyone else...

I got up and take a shower then put on some clothes. As I went out and head towards the sala, I just smell a delicious smell coming from the kitchen. When I entered the kitchen, I saw him getting the food ready at the table.

"Good morning"

He gasped and looked at me then smiled.

"Good morning"

His bangs and his hair is getting long so he tied it, how cute.

"This looks delicious"

"Don't exaggerate things. This is just scumbled egg, salad, and toast bread"

I took a bite and smiled gently.

"It's delicious"

His whole face including his both ears reddened.

"Stop complimenting me..."

After a few more minutes his phone rang and he picked it up. I quietly stared at him while he's talking to someone on the phone. Maybe it's his brother, if his brother decided to come back I'll just have to follow him to Japan.

After he hung up he looked at me with a worried face.

"My brother wants me to come back home, geez he even said that he'll contact the world organization team if I don't come back"

"Are you... Thinking of coming back?"

I was nervous, I don't know what's going through his mind... I can't control him and I don't want to control him.

"Of course not, he just wants me to be there since the stocks in the company has been dropped off lately and the customers wanted to see me"

"Haha, but what if he calls the world organization?"

"That won't happen! I'll kick his ass if he does that"

The two of us laughed at each other.

"Oh right, Jeol is coming here right now"

"Jeol, you mean that stalker guard before?"

"Ah, yeah. But don't worry, he changed. He became cuter than before, he's too innocent"

I stopped for a moment. Cute... He never complimented everyone, neither me. Did he and that man...

"Kyenzi did you... Do it with him?"

He kept quiet for a while then stared at me then looked away.

"Yes I did, but that was only one time. And that time, I'm active. After work, I go to the bar and—"

My mind was blank. I didn't hear Kyenzi's following words. All that carved into my mind is that Jeol that perverted stalker got a taste of Kyenzi. Even if it's only one time, he was always near to Kyenzi. And Kyenzi complimented him, the one thing that he didn't do to me. Is this jealousy?

In the afternoon as I was walking on the second floor. I saw at the window Kyenzi with someone, it was Jeol. They were both happy, it made my heart crack for a second.

KYENZI'S POV

"So young master, are you okay?"

"Yes I am, am I getting fat?"

He shook his head.

"Not at all, more like you're glowing. Oh young master you stop using contact lens!"

"Yes, I realized that there's no reason on hiding them anymore"

"They're really beautiful"

As we sat down at the bench while looking at the flowers, Jeol looked at me and smiled.

"I thought Mr. Hungevszky gave you cold treatment"

"Haha, the thing is—"

Before I could finish my response I felt a warm body that encircled around mine from the back. A low tone whispered in my right ear.

"I've missed you"

I gasped as I recognized that voice and looked back.

"You surprised me"

But the one more surprise is... Jeol. His face turned pale that he even forget to blink.

"Young master and... Mr. Hungevszky is going out?!?"

"Hey you don't need to raise your voice"

He bowed as he apologized and smiled.

"I'm glad that young master found his true happiness"

"Yes, that's—"

I rather felt uncomfortable right now. Reeves has never been touchy, so why the hell is he hugging me right now in front of Jeol? He even landed his head on my right shoulder.

"Hey Reeves, if you're tired you can have a rest"

"Don't wanna"

And he tightens his grip.

Why is he doing this all of a sudden?!? I'm suddenly felt embarrassed in front of Jeol. These things should've been done in private!

"Reeves... Why are you being touchy?"

He looked at me with puppy eyes and then pout.

"You don't want it?"

"It's not like that... But this kind of thing should've been done in private—besides Jeol is in front of us"

Jeol giggled.

He stopped hugging me and hold both of my hands.

"Then I go take a look at the documents in my office."

He soon turned away and leave with a dejected expression. Why is he being like that? Did I do something to upset him? Gosh, this is so embarrassing! Reeves you bastard, you're making me the bad guy here!

"I've never thought Mr. Hungevszky is like that. The last time I saw him he has the eye of a predator, ready to kill you with his killing stare but now... He looks like a tamed puppy"

I laughed.

"He changed since we started hanging out with each other"

"Young master, are you perhaps... Serious about him?"

I kept quiet for a moment then smiled at Jeol.

"I don't understand what you mean by serious but what I think right now is that I'm happy with him and that's what matters now. The two of us can just date like other couples, am I right?"

He nodded his head.

"To be honest I was shocked at first because Mr. Hungevszky is too obsessed with Mr. Wellian so I didn't expect him to move on and fall for you. I was sad because my little hope to have an intimacy with the young master is no longer to be reached. But I'm happier since the young master is happy, and that's all matters to me too. If the young master is happy then I could not wish for more. Even if I'm not part of that kind of happiness, I still want to support my young master. So young master, I'm still here..."

Jeol's words were full of kindness and selflessness. If I didn't involve myself with Reeves in the first place maybe... The two of us were together now— no. About me and Reeves, was nothing that was written inside the novel. This is the reality not a story. So meeting Reeves was a fate and falling for him was also a part of fate.

"Thank you Jeol..."

I hugged him, but before we could talk to each other first his phone rungs.

"I'm sorry young master, this seems to be an emergency call please excuse me for a second"

I nodded as he immediately turned away and answered his call. After a few more minutes, he returned with a pale expression.

"What happened?"

"Sorry young master but I have to leave right now. My younger brother was caught in a car accident—"

I stopped him.

"Yes, you may. You don't have to worry about me anymore. And if brother Raspher scolded you, tell him that I'll kick his ass"

He nodded and immediately leave. I sighed because of a sudden turn of events. I shook my head and then went inside as I decided to have snacks while watching some interesting movies.

I opened my eyes as I looked at the dark ceiling. Shit, I overslept! I didn't know that I slept while watching movies. I was about to get up when I saw Reeves beside me while his eyes were closed. I guess he fell asleep when he saw me asleep.

When I was about to get up I felt a grip on my right hand and looked back.

"You surprised me"

"Where are you going?"

"Of course eat, I'm starving after I overslept. How about you?"

He smiled and hug me at my back.

"Then let's eat together"

The maids served us exquisite seafood dishes. I took a bite at the shrimp and it was delicious.

"There are plenty here, you don't need to hold back"

I looked at him and he's just watching me eat.

"Reeves, how about you? Why are you not eating? Don't you like the food?"

"Hmmm, just looking at you eating made me happy that I'm full"

"Sh-shut up! You eat too! What would I do if you were to lose those yummy bread at your stomach ha?"

"So you like my abs?"

"Wh—who said that?! Tsk!"

I ignored him as I continue to eat. I then stopped and drink water.

"I'm full"

He gasped.

"Huh? But you're just enjoying eating? Don't you like the food? Would you like me to order different dishes?"

I glared at him.

"You bastard, this was your plan all along wasn't it? I'm just wondering why does tonight's dinner is all about my favorite dish!"

"What are you saying?"

"Don't play dumb on me! I know you want me to get fat! You son of a bitch!"

"H-hey Kyenzi, calm down"

He stand up and came to me. He patted me on my shoulders and kissed me on my cheek.

"Now you're flirting with me! You think my anger will fade away huh?! Do you take me for a fool?!"

He hugged me and then pout.

"I'm sorry please forgive your pitiful lover. I just wanted you to be comfortable living with me that you'll regret coming home back to Japan"

"Ho-ho, don't lie to me! You just wanted me to get fat so that no one will find me attractive, isn't it?"

I looked at him and observe his expression. He looked away and then smiled.

"We—well that... There's part of it...?"

"You son of a bitch!"

I gave him a slaps in his broad shoulders but it seems it doesn't hurt but it tickles him. He then pouted and look at me.

"I'm jealous okay? You're happy now? I'm jealous when you complimented Jeol and you even put on a bright smile when his name is mentioned. And the two of you have a one-night stand so you can't command me not to get jealous by all of it! And besides..."

Reeves looked away then blushed while covering his face.

"You never complimented me"

Wow... I can't believe I'm seeing this. But he has a good point. Up until now, I've barely gotten honest with him. I do compliment him... On my mind. If I were in his position I would feel the same way... Sigh.

I stand up and kissed him.

"I'm sorry for making you jealous. But Jeol is nothing more like a little brother of mine nothing more. I'm aware of his feelings towards mine but I'm already taken by you. And I can't be happier than anyone else besides you"

"Then..."

He cornered me and gave me an evil smile.

"Make it up for me"

I'm doomed.
