The gust of wind gently tapped the hair of the woman standing in the middle. That made her face even more visible in the midst of the darkness caused by the setting sun.
Facing a formidable enemy that cannot be underestimated, the man in front of her is a magician. A strong one on top of that, it wouldn't be an easy fight.
She clenched her fist, sped up flashing in front of the man she's up against and put her left palm on front of the man's face acting as a cover. At the same time as he removed brushed her hands off, a punch was coming.
At this distance, dodging was impossible. A loud thud sounded the place but It didn't even reach the face of the magician. The punch stopped in the middle, just few inch away from his face which made the woman surprised.
A thick, defensive barrier was formed in the area she was trying to hit. She felt a danger coming from downward so she tried delaying it by punching again upwards by her left fist and another barrier was formed.
Knowing doing it doesn't make any difference, she then proceeded to do a front kick towards his abdomen using him as a foothold to escape while he was also pushed backwards.
A spike of rocks raised above the ground where the woman was standing, the spell doesn't end that way though. Another spike rose up one after another trying to follow their target.
Responding to that, she accelerated and kicked with her power the rising spike on her way destroying not only one but all the spike that is lined up.
"For starters, you certainly have the skills to back up your words as a magician." Spoken out of amusement, her lips rose up to her cheeks. Seeing that smile of hers looked like a paradise filled with poison.
She raised her hands up that looks like holding a sword out of its scabbard and swung it down. As it fell like a half of a rainbow, a blue light came up and formed the shape of a sword. It materialized and turned into a red, beautiful Dao broadsword with its signature Cresent shaped end.
But what happened to the slash? As the energy filled slash fell to the ground, it drew a straight line across the whole arena also hitting the magician. His barrier didn't held out till the end and got sliced through.
He was sliced in half and then disappeared In thin air. Although he didn't die because he did use mirage transfer, just like he did in his entrance. He appeared in the mid air, standing on a barrier that made him look frying.
Hundreds of fire formed in mid-air and fell down like rain below, explosion occurred where the fire fall and tons of craters were made. The floor could repair itself later on so nobody worried about it.
In this raining explosive fires, jumping to attack him was just idiotic. So instead, she stabbed her sword on the ground '[Burst]' the ground full of crater shattered and created one big crater.
Debris came flying around the place and in that mere second. With dozens of foothold to jump on, she catches up and reached the place where the magician and sliced her sword downward.
The Magician refusing to die, spread out his arms and a staff appeared in a flash. He enhanced it multiple times knowing that no mere defense could deflect the slashes of this woman.
The staff held out raising the hopes of the man but in a second, it all broke when the staff broke in half. He still regained his sense and formed a barrier only for it to break into peices again.
He then decided to break his foothold, fire an explosion spell in front of them and he made another barrier strong enough to defend against the explosion he set up.
That made him fall at fast speed, dust covered the ground where he fell but he quickly got up to see what happened to his enemy.
The slash she made reflected the explosion and it didn't even pass through. It's like the explosion was sliced in half.
The thoughts of how defeating this woman slowly dwindled and only one solution appeared clearly. Trying to fight her in wide range doesn't work as his spells didn't work on her even the slightest.
Meaning that kind of fighting style doesn't work on her. How should she be defeated? "Out of choices already?" as if knowing what he's thinking, she said in an arrogant way with a smile slit in her face.
"Really, you are overpowered. It feels like nothing in this world could defeat you, how does it feel?" he replied with a sarcastic words.
"That's a great provocation to taunt me, unfortunately I will fall on that" The Blademaster , with a flash just like what she did in her first attack she slashed horizontally to cut the magician in half.
However, the blade she held did not cut through. Another staff appeared that defended the blade, it got cut slightly but because it is enhanced many times more than the first one, it didn't break in half.
A slight ray of hope has shone through a thick, dark storm clouds of defeat. "Even the highest of the building cans still be reached huh?" He released massive amounts of mana and formed them in five places, "[Transfer]" and the mana all got sucked in place and five staff appeared out of thin air.
"Oho, it's good that you've reached up to that conclusion. Isn't it more interesting?" The Blademaster stood still and closed her eyes, seems like she's maintaining focus.
The magician not wanting to take more time, made three of the staffs fly to her at incredible fast speed. The staff pierced her body and flew all the way to peirce the wall. But her body image disappeared in this air.
'An after image!? Oh no' before he realized it, The Blademaster is already at her back and was gonna slash him. The Magician defended with two his staffs it got deflected but the recoil brought him to the ground, he quickly pulled himself up using wind magic but is faced with another slash.
That one staff he had on him he used to slash too facing her head on, he used the staff like a club and slashed it the opposite way The Blademaster did.
While trying to catch up, seeing that it would be impossible for a magician like him to have a face to face swordfight with a master, all his other staff came flying towards the Blademaster at all sides aiming to stab her forcefully.
The place looked like a torch stand with all the staff crossing each other. The magician once again, adapted a new fighting style.
Each staffs worked in patterns, if you turned them into human it would look like.. "You, you are the Blademaster, a one master. But can you win against six experts?" all six of them worked on pattern. On congruence with each other, if you would imagine them as humans, they will all look like a battalion of experts.
Seems like he just made a nickname for himself. More so if he wins this fight, it will be a bigger trademark on his title.
But looks like fate doesn't want that to happen for while they were both clashing their weapons and spells. The Blademaster have made an opening that made him vulnerable. So she seizes that and managed to cut The Magician's body in half. Blood came gushing out like a tube that has been broken.
The crimson blood colored the broken floor and the match ended with the loss of The Magician from the flying mountains.
