"An immediate meeting with the vassals Madam?" The butler seemed deaf that he asked me again not twice but thrice. 


"N-no! Madam! It's more than enough! To imagine that the Duke granted you all his rights and power, no one could ever complain on that. H-however…" He seemed hesitant to continue what he was going to say. 


"They aren't the type of people who will just follow an order from a newly-appointed Duchess?" 


"T-that is not it Madam, it's just that not all of them can be easily convinced--" 


"Then let's have it tomorrow. I'll give them enough time to prepare for the meeting." I said but it seemed like he has a lot of complains. 


"The Duchy is going to be bankrupt" I directed a disappointing tone on the butler to make him realize the gravity of the situation. 


"B-bankrupt? M-madam that is too early to conclude--"
