Chapter 35: Rain

"Teal, Gray, I'm going to the market." That's what I said when I've decided to practice archery outside the Dukedom.

Those were the days when I spent most of my daytime outside practicing archery and indulging myself in eating berry with chocolate desserts in the bakery which I became the usual customer.

"Are you sure you're going to need a lot, Milady?" Teal asked which made me furrowed my eyebrow.

"Don't worry, I'm using my own money to buy these." I said and I heard a sigh of worry on the other hand.

"That's the problem Milady, the butler has been asking me to tell you to spend your last month's budget. You're a noblewoman and you know that aristocrats have to maintain their digni--"

"Dignity my ass. I have my own hard-earned money so why would I spend someone's money?"

"Someone… Has the Milady forgotten that the Duke is her husband?"

I didn't mind her and just opened another bowl of my favorite dessert.
